My Wonderful Waman Tour of Peru

My "8 Days Tour: Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu & Puno – Includes Domestic Flights & Vistadome Train" was but excellent! All of our guides including Mario, Daniel, and Manuel were treasures of information and helpful. Yeny, our guide in Cusco and that area went above and beyond the call. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about Cusco city, the area's archeological sites, and Machu Pichu but she was extremely kind and helpful. She made us all feel like friends and not just clients. I'm 73 and was sick before I left home. So, whenever I needed some extra help hiking up and down Machu Pichu and the archeological areas, Yeny was always there to help. I didn't even have to ask for her assistance. She just jumped in. I will never forget my tour to Peru and I hope to stay in touch with dear Yeny.

    Wonderful Inca Experience

It was a whirlwind adventure in Peru. Saw a lot, experienced a lot, learned a lot; fascinating Inca history. My three favorite highlights were Dunes sand body surfing, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. Wilberth was my favorite tour guide in beautiful Cusco.

    Wonderful experience

We were very happy with the service provided by Waman Aventures. They were easy to communicate with throughout the trip. The hotels were clean and offered good breakfasts — especially the Hotel Ayni in Cusco. It’s a new hotel with very friendly staff, and the on-site restaurant served great food with excellent service; we ended up having dinner there every night. As a bonus, the hotel offered very reasonable laundry service. What stood out most was our tour guide, Nohemi. She was incredibly patient with our questions and went above and beyond to make sure our tour ran smoothly. Machu Picchu is already amazing on its own, but Nohemi made the experience even more memorable. We’d highly recommend Waman Aventures, and especially Nohemi as a guide, to anyone planning a trip to Peru.

    Would recommend!

We had a great time in Peru with many thanks to Waman Adventures! Luz was super helpful ever since we signed up, helping us organise pre-accommodation, transfers, etc. Our tour guide, Julio, and driver, Señor Beltran, were both amazing. Unforgettable experience!

Wilbert was an outstanding guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made our visits to Chinchero, Maras, Moray, and Machupicchu both informative and meaningful. Our visit to Machupicchu also happened to be on my birthday, and Wilbert went above and beyond by surprising me during our group lunch. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made an already unforgettable day even more special. His passion, professionalism, and genuine care made this one of the best guided tours we've ever had. We're so grateful we experienced our first visit to Machupicchu, etc. with Wilbert. If you have the chance to tour with Wilbert, don't hesitate—you'll be in excellent hands!

How much does 7 Days: Lima, Ica, Cusco & Machupicchu with local flights cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,599 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Days: Lima, Ica, Cusco & Machupicchu with local flights take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lima is not rushed.

Is 7 Days: Lima, Ica, Cusco & Machupicchu with local flights worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 105 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Lima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Days: Lima, Ica, Cusco & Machupicchu with local flights?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 7 Days: Lima, Ica, Cusco & Machupicchu with local flights suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

    +

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lima and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Lima?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Paracas & Huacachina Day Trip from Lima with Sunset Toast, Discover Lima: Love Park, Historic Center, and its Catacombs., Paracas & Huacachina Premium Experience from Lima. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lima?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lima?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
