    India with my daughter

We had an outstanding experience on the 7-day Golden Triangle tour with wildlife. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and very well organized, allowing us to experience some of India’s most remarkable places including Delhi, Agra, the Taj Mahal, a tiger safari, and Jaipur. Communication with the company was excellent from the moment we booked the trip, and everything throughout the journey was handled smoothly and professionally. For travelers coming from the United States, India can feel overwhelming at first. The energy, the crowds, and especially the traffic are very different from what we are used to. Having a well-organized tour and a trusted driver made all the difference. It allowed us to relax and appreciate the beauty, culture, and history of the country instead of worrying about logistics. One thing that particularly impressed us is that this is a woman-run company that makes a real effort to support and include female guides. As a mother and daughter traveling together, this meant a great deal to us. We had the opportunity to meet multiple female guides during our trip, and each of them was knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful to spend time with. Hearing their perspectives and personal stories added a depth to the experience that we truly valued. Our driver, Raji, was exceptional. He is a quiet, humble, and very kind person who took wonderful care of us throughout the entire journey. Driving in India can be intense, but Raji handled every situation with calm professionalism and always made us feel completely safe. Although he is naturally soft-spoken, when his personality comes through he is bright, cheerful, and clearly proud of his country. Along the way he pointed out fascinating details of everyday life that we would never have noticed ourselves. Seeing the Taj Mahal and watching a tigress in the wild were unforgettable highlights, but what truly made the trip special was the care and professionalism of the entire team. We are very grateful to Sonia and her company for creating such a thoughtful and memorable experience. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, and we are so happy we chose this company to experience India.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and detailed account of your 7-day Golden Triangle with Wildlife journey. We are truly delighted that the thoughtfully designed itinerary allowed you to experience India’s remarkable blend of culture, history, wildlife, and vibrant energy at a comfortable pace. Your words about the Taj Mahal, the tiger safari, and the Maharaja’s palaces beautifully capture the magic of India, and we are honored to have been part of those unforgettable moments. We are especially grateful for your recognition of our woman-run company and the inclusion of female guides. It means a great deal to us that their knowledge, professionalism, and personal stories added depth and inspiration to your travels. We are also proud of Mr. Raji, whose calm professionalism, kindness, and quiet insights made your journey safe, smooth, and enriching. It is wonderful to hear that his care and humility left such a lasting impression. On behalf of Sonia and the entire Joyful Holidays team, thank you for entrusting us with your once-in-a-lifetime trip. Your appreciation inspires us to continue creating journeys that are not only well-organized but also deeply meaningful. We look forward to welcoming you again for more joyful discoveries across India. With gratitude, Sonia Handa

Our driver Shankar was such a lovely and welcoming person. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable when taking us to all the sites. The car was incredibly clean and air conditioned as well. The tour itself was very well managed and run. We got very good tips and tricks to best see all the sites. The Ranthambore National Park was a highlight alongside the Taj Mahal and Jaipur. The hotels were safe, secure and very magnificent. Overall, would highly recommended Shankar and this tour, 10/10.

    Happy Travellers

We had a 7 day 6 night trip of the golden triangle with ranthambore safari which was the perfect balance of history, culture and jungle. Each of the guides Surej in Delhi, Dileep in Agra, Bunty in the Ghost city and Rajesh in Jaipur were all knowledgable, funny and answered all questions. Our driver Praveen was excellent keeping us up to date on what we needed to bring, timings as well as being funny, kind and generous with his culture. If you are fortunate enough to meet these people you are in for the best adventure!

    Great Golden Triangle Tour

This was our first trip to India and we had an excellent experience on our tour. Our driver Parveen was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, he was a safe and attentive driver and looked after our every need. He was patient when we were slow, accommodating when we had early starts, late finishes and special requests and he is very knowledgeable, funny and speaks great English, he looked after us so well. Our guides Karen in Delhi, Dillip in Agra and Ask in Jaipur were all very different in their style but all brilliant, knowledgable and flexible - we really liked them all and would certainly recommend all three. We sadly didn't see any Tigers in Ranthambore but the Jeep and cantor safaris were still enjoyable experiences. All hotels were fantastic and any queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thanks everyone for a great experience of India.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers cost?

    +

Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7‑Day Golden Triangle & Rajasthan Wildlife – Taj Mahal & Tigers start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
