Very bad experience for several reasons: airport-hostel shuttle at 35€ that made us wait 1 hour in the airport parking lot in the sun, a hostel not consistent with the booking because I quote “the place where I booked is under renovation but it’s the same experience”, I almost choked swallowing a nail that was in my lunch box prepared by the cook and Brahim (the owner) did not see fit to apologize. A big lack of communication on the part of Brahim and constant mockery when we ask for information. Fortunately, the 2 surf teachers are very kind and motivated to teach. But many other surf camps in Tamrhaght offer the same services as Pro surf, I advise you to go elsewhere!

Mixed Experience at Pro Surf Morocco - Great Location but Lacking Structure

First of all, I would like to thank Pro Surf Morocco for the opportunity to participate in your camp. Pro Surf Camp was chosen primarily based on its excellent reviews. True, there were also some older negative comments, but I sincerely assumed that necessary improvements had been made since then. Since this wasn’t my first surf camp experience in Tamraght, I assumed that all places would be similarly caring and supportive. Unfortunately, I had the opposite experience and feel it is important to share my impressions. Upon arrival, there was no reception at all – the driver who brought us from the airport simply directed us straight to the dining table. Only after asking several times was a sleeping arrangement shown to us, but no one provided an overview of how things worked (breakfast, lunch, equipment, drinking water, etc.). Although some of the people there were very helpful, overall communication was lacking throughout the trip. What concerned me most was the quality of the surf instruction, which, in my opinion, was either inadequate or very superficial. Basic knowledge - such as safety, equipment handling, and understanding risks - should be mandatory, especially for beginners. For example, situations like not explaining the dangers of fins or taking beginners surfing in the dark seemed simply inappropriate. I understand that everyone should be able to assess their own abilities and ask questions, but many beginners lack the knowledge and experience to accurately evaluate risk. In this regard, I am sincerely grateful to SurfStar, from whom I received a solid foundation of knowledge and skills for surfing. The staff’s attitude was inconsistent, which made the service feel unstable; at times, I also noticed condescending behavior. Luckily, there were also good days when the atmosphere was pleasant and supportive. The yoga instructor always brought genuine positivity and good energy. The location was excellent, authentic, and clean, offering beautiful views. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, although I also heard remarks that sometimes there wasn’t enough food. I believe that Pro Surf Camp may be better suited for more experienced surfers who do not require thorough guidance or strong foundational knowledge. For beginners or those seeking structured, professional teaching and clear communication, the experience may fall short of expectations. I am grateful for this experience – although I didn’t feel truly welcomed, I met wonderful people who shared positive energy, and I left overall with a sense of gratitude and joy.

Unforgettable Surf & Community Experience

I honestly do not even know where to start with my experience at this hostel, because it truly went far beyond what I expected 😊. From the very first minute I arrived, I could feel the love and dedication that Brahim puts into this place. He runs the hostel with such genuine passion, and you can literally see it and feel it right away. This is by far the best hostel in town, not only because of the building itself, but because of the amazing energy and community that surrounds it ❤️. I booked the full package, including insurance for the equipment, which I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Everything was organized perfectly. The food was delicious every single day 😋, the atmosphere was always fun, and there was never a moment where I did not feel welcome. Brahim was always present, always generous, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He makes sure that every guest feels like more than just a guest—you feel like part of a family 🫶. During my stay I also had the chance to compare with other hostels, because I had friends staying in different places, and I can confidently say that what we had here was something special and unique ⭐. Ali, my surf instructor, deserves a big mention as well. He is such a calm, kind, and fun young man, with so much patience and respect. He truly gives his best for his students, and his encouraging words make the whole process of learning to surf feel relaxed and enjoyable 🏄, even when it gets challenging out on the board. On top of that, I met Faysal, Max, and many other wonderful people who made the whole experience feel even richer. The hostel is not just a place to sleep or eat, it is a place where you can connect, share, laugh, and grow 🌞. What surprised me the most is how genuine and heartfelt everything is here. It is not just a hostel, it is a home and a community, and staying here was one of the best decisions I could have made 🙏. If you are thinking about where to stay, do yourself a favor and choose this place. You will not just get a bed and surf lessons—you will leave with memories, friendships, and an experience that stays with you for a very long time 💯. Pro surf Morocco Relaxed, open to questions and always ready to help with whatever is needed, whether it's surfing or how to find your way around Tamraght. Flexible and hospitable. Brahim, manages to make us feel at home. As he himself mentioned "You're my guest". And so it is. When it comes to food, after two surf sessions (morning and afternoon), it is undoubtedly a luxury to come home and have the privilege of tasting and enjoying chef Marloe's meals. It is important to note that, also prepared by the same company, the breakfasts meet all the requirements for surfing mornings. As far as facilities are concerned, nothing to point out. Spaces for all tastes such as a covered terrace - a meeting point after dinner - as well as an uncovered terrace - suitable for sunbathing. In case of extreme heat, the rooms can maintain a bearable ambient temperature. With regard to surf classes, taught by Brahim and Fazal, they are enriching due to the shared experience as well as the technical assessment of each learner. Amazing!

It was the best week of my life! I want to say thank you to my surf teachers Anwar and Brahim, to my yoga teacher Ola, to the cook Karima and to all the friends I met there. The house is beautiful, everything was perfect and the food amazing! The organization of the day was well done, surfing during the day and doing the best yoga lessons in the terrace at sunset. I couldn’t wish for better! Another time thanks to the prosurf team! Hope to see you very soon!
