Amazing tour! Highly recommend! Book with Anas
This tour was amazing, not only did we taste delicious food I would have never heard of we also saw the important sights of Tangier. We had amazing shopping experiences as well as we learned about traditionally made Moroccan carpets and body oils. This tour was a perfect mix of everything and it took us from 8am to 1:30pm. It was super comprehensive and the tour guide was amazing and spoke English perfectly. Anas was our tour guide and I would highly recommend him. He guided my husband and I as well as our two daughters and everyone was very satisfied from the entire experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed the experience and that the day offered a nice balance of history, local flavors, and cultural discoveries. It was a real pleasure spending the day with all of you, and I’m grateful for your recommendation. I hope Tangier leaves you with many happy memories, and I would be delighted to welcome your family back anytime. Safe travels!

Great Variety of Tastes
Fantastic experience! Our guide, Anas, was very friendly and professional. I lost count of the food stops, but they were delightful. They ran the gamut from an upscale restaurant with a fantastic view to a tiny hole in the wall where laborers get ready for the workday. We finished the tour with bags from two different places because we were to stuffed to try them. I will tour with Anas the next time I am in Morocco! Ask him about his other tours.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a pleasure sharing the food and culture of Morocco with you. I’m delighted you enjoyed the tour, and I look forward to welcoming you back for another adventure the next time you’re in Morocco. Safe travels!

Absolutely outstanding tour. Anas was a very helpful and knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions and took us to some great spots. We tried all manner of tasty foods from mint tea to a huge seafood lunch. Tour was worth every penny we paid.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a real pleasure spending the day with you. I’m very happy you enjoyed the food, the places we visited, and the experience overall. Wishing you safe travels, and I hope to welcome you back to Morocco one day!

Disaster- Do Not Take This Tour
Instead of cancelling our tour, the tour guide told us he was asked to cover for the regular guide since he was busy the day of our tour. Instead of being met at the cruise port we were asked to walk 25 minutes into a very confusing market area where, once we finally found our guide, we were taken around to four spots where we had a cup of bean soup at our first stop, an espresso at our second stop, our third stop was a chicken and couscous dish and our fourth stop we got a date with a walnut in it. We got no discussion or explanation on anything we were eating nor any cultural discussions. Most of the time we spent staring at the back of our 25 year old “tour guides” head. Then we were left in the middle of the market and told the tour is over your ship is that way as he pointed and walked away. Hands down, worst tour ever.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am honestly surprised by this review, especially since I already issued you a refund as a gesture of goodwill after our discussions. Given that the refund was accepted, I do not see the value in posting a review that omits important parts of what happened that day. First, your group arrived significantly later than the agreed meeting time at the port, which affected the schedule from the start. Despite this, we honored the tour and ensured that all the planned locations were covered. Second, the guide who accompanied you was asked to substitute for the regular guide due to an unforeseen scheduling issue. While he may have had a different style, he made every effort to accommodate your group and complete the experience. I also feel it is important to mention that throughout the tour and our subsequent communications, the interactions toward our guide and our team were at times discourteous and disrespectful. Nevertheless, we remained professional and worked to find a satisfactory solution, including providing a refund. We always welcome constructive criticism and continuously strive to improve our tours. However, fairness requires that the full context be considered. I wish you all the best in your future travels.

One of the best food tours we’ve ever done.
One of the best walking food tours we’ve ever done in the world!! Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and took us to some really interesting places. He was also attentive to one of our party who had to be gluten-free, and she had options at each stop.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much 🤗🤗

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tangier.
How much does 6 stops food & culture: bustling & vibrant souks, Moroccan spices cost?

How long does 6 stops food & culture: bustling & vibrant souks, Moroccan spices take?

Is 6 stops food & culture: bustling & vibrant souks, Moroccan spices worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tangier, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book 6 stops food & culture: bustling & vibrant souks, Moroccan spices?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tangier can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tangier?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tangier?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
