      • The Gothic Charles Bridge was founded 9th of July 1357. But it took another 9 years to collect the money and actually continue in the construction. Everytime you wanted to cross the Bridge called Stone bridge or simply Prague bridge you had to pay a toll. We don´t know exactly when Bridge was finished but an estimation is till 1415 at the latest. But it is not the oldest bridge in the Czech Republic. There is much older bridge located in a town Pisek outside of Prague which was build in 13th century.

    3. Josefov

      • Former Jewish Quarter (Josefov ) is very close by the Old Town Square. A visit to the Old Jewish cemetery and the famous Old New Synagogue is an unforgettable experience. Prague´s Jewish Quarter was saved in the World War II thanks to Hitler´s strange idea to establish here after the war an exotic museum of an extinct race. You will find here the oldest still working synagogue in Europe, the oldest preserved Jewish cemetery and an oriental Spanish Synagogue which is considered as the most beautiful in Europe.

It resembles the Eiffel Tower and was used as an observation tower as well as a transmission tower. Today the tower is a major tourist attraction.

The church has a memorial to the paratroopers who hid in the church crypt after they assassinated Reichsprotektor Reinhard Heydrich in May 1942. An exhibition about Heydrich’s reign of terror is located in the underground vaults.

    8. Dancing House

      • Dancing House is set in a fine location by the Vltava River in Prague. Its design is unique, and especially striking in the city centre because it is a modern building surrounded by historic architecture. It was constructed between 1992-1996. It has daring, curvy outlines which led its architects Vlado Milunic and the American Frank Owen Gehry to initially name it the "Fred and Ginger Building", after the legendary dance duo.The top floor of Dancing House is the only part of the building open to the public, and is home to one of the city's leading restaurants: the Ginger & Fred Restaurant. Ginger & Fred presents a delightful international menu complimented by magnificent views over Prague. Diners look out in panoramic splendour over the river, to Charles Bridge, and to Prague Castle.

    This tour is very...

This tour is very personal and interesting. It is great for first time visitors to Prague. Our guide, Eva, was very knowledgeable and tailored our day as we requested. If you spend multiple days in Prague this tour will help you decide where you want to spend the rest of your stay. Eva made very welcome suggestions for additional sights.

    An amazing day!!

Wow!! I can't say enough. Eva met us at our hotel right on time with a private driver, Miroslav. She asked us what our interests were and what our priorities were. We drove, walked and talked for a solid 6 hours seeing all the sights we had asked to see. Her English was excellent, she is a very well educated lady and was a wealth of information regarding the history of Prague. Extremely personable and I honestly can't speak highly enough of her. An amazing day. I highly recommend you pay the money for the one on one service of her private tour.

Like Touring With Your Warmest, Most Knowledgeable Friend!

Eva was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide and we felt so lucky to be able to spend one of our two days in Prague with her! She took us to top spots in Prague, but was also flexible and knowledgable. She got to know us quickly so that she could best take us to places she felt would interest us most. She was warm, welcoming, wise, and was able to offer fantastic insight on both historical sites, but also the culture of Prague's wonderful people. Eva made us feel like we were out exploring with a friend we'd known all our lives, and we would definitely want to contact her again if we return! Thank you, Eva, for giving us a special, magical, and memorable tour of your beautiful city!

Response from the operator: What a special award to me as a guide!!! Fantastic people you were And it was my pleasure to show you around. Thanks very much for booking this tour. Warmest Regards, Eva

A must do tour for an introduction to Prague

Eva, our guide on this tour was wonderful. With limited time in Prague, she guided us to the best locations. We had lunch at a scenic location (could not have found it on our own). For a first time visit to Prague with limited time, we would highly recommend this tour. The driver was very professional and the car was clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great tour.

Response from the operator: Hello to New Orleans, my favourite city:-) Thnaks very much Pesi for being around. I did enjoy your company very much. It was my pleasure to meet you and show you and your wife Prague in the way I love:-) Take care. Eva

6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $280 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 6-hour Welcome to Prague Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
