Everything was amazing from beginning to end. The staff was very informative and answered all my questions prior to our trip. Everything was transparent. The cost of the tour was extremely reasonable for the experience that we received. We had private drivers who were friendly and knowledgeable. When we went to the museum the tour guide was well versed about the artifacts and displays at the museum. She was such a delight to have along with us. The drivers were always on time for pick up. They gave us a lot of valuable facts about the area. I would highly recommend this tour.

Birthday gift of Greece

Working with Patti and team from Private Tours Greece that created our tour was really great from pick ups to drop offs ...it took so much pressure off where we could just really enjoy Anthens and Santorini. The 6 day tour was exceptional despite the weather (it was cold and rainy most of the time). Oh and the food...OMG the food! Visit Mama's in Santorini if you can it's new and the staff and food were amazing! Our guides were beyond exceptional and fun! I plan to return using the same agency to visit other islands in Greece. This was the perfect birthday gift!

Super tour, great people, good communication.

I arranged the tour for my wife and daughter-in-law. They had a wonderful time. Tour folks were easy to work with and always quick and accurate. They easily added two days to the beginning of the trip. Easily a 5 star experience. But there was a couple of things to look out for: 1. The hotel in Athens was a 3 or 4 star and was acceptable. The first hotel they offered on Santorini might have been nice, but it was located between cities with nothing much else around. I asked for another. They then offered a hotel in Thira, downtown, and with a caldera view. It was great. 5 star! 2. The tour ended with being dropped off in the late afternoon in Athens or at the airport. I would prefer a tour THAT drops off in the late afternoon to provide a hotel room, and make arrangements for the travel the next day. Of course, this would cost a bit more. We ended up paying for an early morning flight to make reasonable connections at ATH.

Tours Greece was incredible

Tours Greece booked and managed the entire vacation for us and we highly recommend booking with them for all of the moving pieces. We had a major issue on the flight from Brussels - Athens on our first day inbound and Dimitra was available via WhatsApp until 10:00 PM local time to assist us with rescheduling drivers and ensuring we arrived at our beautiful honeymoon suite in Santorini. Unfortunately due to a horrible airline experience our flight was delayed 2 hours and we lost our baggage but the contact for Tours Greece ensured that after we rebooked a new flight from Athens we were picked up in Santorini at 10:00 PM instead of the originally planned 7:00 PM and we had our private transfer to the accommodations on the island. The hotel was beautiful and I would highly recommend a stay at Amber Light Villas in Santorini. We were also able to rent an ATV directly through the hotel hassle free and it was dropped off at our hotel same day. We finished our final leg of the trip with a ferry back to Athens, Sliver seats were booked on the Seajet and it was a good experience. lots of leg room, quick transport and we arrived slightly late in Athens. Again our driver waited hours for us later than expected and Dimitra arranged for us to get a ride to Athens airport to go retrieve our baggage manually as the airline lost it and did not forward it to Santorini. The cost was minimal and the driver was very pleasant and professional. Our final day we had a panoramic tour of the city, visit to the Acropolis Museum and a private tour of the Acropolis. Our guide was incredible, she was so knowledgeable and explained so many amazing points of history that I would have never known if we did this without a guide. We got to see the Olympic stadium, changing of the guards, and so many neat things on the panoramic tour with stops. Finally the museum and the Acropolis the guide provided so much information and history that it really made the entire tour for us ! Thank you for that. I am so grateful for Tours Greece and the assistance we were provided with all the travel setbacks. Highly professional, communication was easy and very fast, and all the hotels and bookings were incredible. We will be using your company again anytime we return to the country.
