Feedback and Complaint Regarding Our Recent Peru Trip Arrangements
I am writing this email to express our deep disappointment regarding several key aspects of our recent trip to Peru. For most people, a trip to South America is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We entrusted your agency with this monumental journey, expecting thorough planning and professional execution so that we could create lifelong memories. Unfortunately, key parts of the arrangements fell far short of our expectations. First, regarding the Lima City Tour: While our tour guide in Lima was very nice and polite, the overall schedule was poorly managed. Out of the 2.5-hour total tour, an entire hour was spent purely on driving. This left us with very little time to actually explore and enjoy the city. Second, regarding our visit to Machu Picchu—one of the most famous landmarks in the world, for which we held exceptionally high expectations: Route Selection: We paid our deposit and settled the entire balance in full seven months in advance. Since ticket sales open three months prior, your team had ample time to secure the best option for us. However, we were automatically assigned Route 1 without any prior consultation. Route 2 is widely recognized as the classic and best route. You gave us zero choices or alternatives, even though we were more than willing to pay extra if additional costs were required for better tickets. Tour Guide Performance: On top of the route issue, the local guide provided for Machu Picchu lacked professional engagement. The guide provided minimal explanation or context throughout the tour, only answering when we actively asked questions. We feel strongly that your agency failed to deliver the level of service and care we paid for. We hope you take this feedback seriously and provide a formal response explaining how such oversights occurred.

Well Coordinated Machu Picchu Adventure
This was a well coordinated trip including interesting sites. You’ll need WhatsApp to communicate with your team. The guides were prompt, courteous, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Advisable to arrive a day early and take it easy to adjust to the altitude in Cusco. We would have liked one more day in Urubamba added to the end after Machu Picchu before returning home.
