Great experience and yummy
I loved this cooking class! We made local dishes from central Vietnam, which I really enjoyed. Other cooking classes usually only offer the same typical vietnamese dishes such as pho or fried spring rolls, which I had already learned in other cities, and was therefore not interested in. If you do not want a specific dish (in my case avocado ice cream because I don‘t like it), they are also accomodating and I could learn how to do egg coffee or salted coffee instead. Our group instructor, Nhi, was amazing. Her English is very well understandable and she shared great background knowledge about items at the local market and also about the dishes we cooked. The cookbook we received is also very detailed and contains all steps we learned to do during the class. It also contains multiple other dishes than those that we cooked, which I am excited to recreate at home! All in all, I highly recommend this cooking class for everyone that is interested in central vietnamese cooking!

Fantastic experience 10/10
Amazing experience at Apron Up Cooking School! Chef Nhi welcomed us so warmly, then took us on a walk to Da Nang’s largest local market to pick out fresh seafood, fruits, and veggies for our five-course meal. We started with avocado ice cream (smart move — gave it time to freeze!), then made beef soup, spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, and a cucumber carrot salad. Every dish was delicious and the whole class felt hands-on and fun from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Da Nang!

5-Course Vietnamese Meal
Nhi's instruction was amazing and she has incredible insights into Vietnamese cuisine. She was very encouraging as we made a 5-course meal from scratch with ingredients from the local market.

Why this scores 93
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang cost?
+
Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 614 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang?
+
Around 215 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5 Dishes Cooking Class with Market Trip in Da Nang start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
