This tour is very well organized and prices are honest. Mr. Manish, the organizer, has been very kind and patient and he fulfilled all our requests. All the guides we met (Mahdi in Delhi, Mokadesh in Jaipur and Abdul in Agra) were perfectly prepared and funny. but in particular our taxi driver RAJI was very good, he always waited for us even when we were late, he always helped us, he drove very well in the busy Indian roads and he was so helpful every day of the tour. Thank you for everything, we truly suggest to go for this tour

Misleading, Poorly Managed Trip – A Stressful Experience

I booked a trip for myself and my elderly mother through Creative Holidays, as she was visiting from overseas and had always dreamed of seeing India, especially the Golden Triangle. The company seemed professional and responsive at first. Manish Jain, the Director, was very involved in planning the trip and assured us that accessible routes would be available at every stop for my mother, who has mobility issues. Unfortunately, these assurances turned out to be completely false, and the reality of the trip was chaotic, stressful, and at times unsafe. Delhi – A Rocky Start We were met by a driver at the airport but taken to the wrong hotel, and my mother and I had to walk to another location nearby — unacceptable given her age and mobility. Only one room had been booked, despite confirming the need for two. After 30 minutes of calls and negotiation, we were finally given a room with a separating door. The hotel, advertised as 3-star, was clearly 2-star quality — worn-down, uncomfortable, with burnt-looking plug sockets. The tour of Old Delhi itself was pleasant, but afterward we were taken to a souvenir shop without being asked, where we were pressured to buy. It felt exploitative and scripted. Varanasi – Repeated Mistakes and Indifference In Varanasi, the same room booking error happened again. The hotel manager refused to help. A Creative Holidays representative came, moved us to another hotel, and said nothing — no apology, no explanation, and certainly no concern. We were exhausted. We enjoyed the cultural aspects of the Ganges tour and the city, but by this stage, we were worn down by constant stress and logistical issues. Agra – Dishonesty and Pressure Before our trip, Manish Jain personally assured us that all sites would have accessible routes and that there would be help for my mother. In Agra, this was clearly untrue. The so-called local “coordinator” did nothing but wait for tourists near the car park — he made no effort to help, guide, or support anyone. The guide assigned to us was rude, impatient, and extremely pushy, especially when we delayed visiting the Taj Mahal due to thick fog. He kept messaging us on WhatsApp and even showed up uninvited at a restaurant to pressure us to go early. Once at the Taj Mahal, he rushed us, pushed for tips, and tried to take us to yet another souvenir shop we didn’t want to visit. He also insisted he was doing us a favor, which felt both manipulative and insulting. We felt like we were being treated like burdens, not valued guests. Despite what was promised, there was no genuine care or support for accessibility. Overall India is a stunning, culturally rich country, and we truly wanted this to be a special trip. But Creative Holidays failed on every basic level — from false promises about accessibility, to botched bookings, pushy and disrespectful guides, and a complete lack of accountability. What we were told and what we experienced were worlds apart. We strongly advise others — especially elderly travelers or anyone requiring extra support — to avoid this company. Their concern for guests ends the moment your payment clears.

definitely recommend

we had a great time on this tour. the itineraries were comprehensive and well varied, as well as well paced. we started with 2 days of a lot of touring and had a few activities during a long drive. ending with a tour of the taj mahal was a perfect way to end the trip. our tour guides sarab, vikram, and hussain were knowledgable and kind, they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and having a good time, and showed us authentic experiences off the usual tourist path including demonstrations from rug makers, block printers, and marble inlay. our driver manoj jain was one of the highlights of our trip, he made us feel very safe and taken care of. he was also very nice and funny and we enjoyed spending time with him and everything he showed us!

Fantastic tour

This was a great tour, I couldn't say enough about it. We booked it because we had a cruise booked out of Mumbai and wanted to see the Taj Mahal but the whole 5 days was great. Our driver was fantastic being picked up from the airport he looked after us like we were his family. The guides we had each day looked after us and were a wealth of knowledge. I could not recommend this tour highly enough and Manish should be very proud of his people especially our driver.
