A jam packed Korean tour
Bergen was an excellent guide. He made sure everything was well organized and planned during an ambitious multi- day tour. I traveled with my mom and he made a lot of effort to accommodate her food restrictions. The DMZ and Seoul days were our highlights. My mom requested to visit the leather shops and he prearranged and scouted the locations before we came to make sure everything was available. Bergen ate with us every meal which was an interesting experience as generally guides haven’t eaten with us. It was interesting to hear his insights and recommendations on Korean food. We enjoyed our tour and are grateful to Bergen for his patience and commitment to making sure we saw a lot of Korea!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your nice review. It was also my pleasure to share five days with you and mom. I also appreciate your effort to find good meals for your mom. Please bring a lot of wonderful memory to your home and have a safe flight to America. Thanks. Bergen Park

Great Sight Seeing / Local Food Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day tour of Korea with Bergen Park. He packed in a full itinerary, giving us a range of activities at a fast pace. He got us up to and through the DMZ experience which can be difficult to schedule. Very fascinating! We especially enjoyed all of the great meals and variety of foods we got to taste. Bergen also took us to a few evening experiences both in Seoul and Busan which were memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you, Bergen!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does 5 Days Essential Tour for Korea's past and present(Seoul, DMZ, Gyeongju, Busan) cost?
+
Prices start at $1249 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5 Days Essential Tour for Korea's past and present(Seoul, DMZ, Gyeongju, Busan) take?

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is 5 Days Essential Tour for Korea's past and present(Seoul, DMZ, Gyeongju, Busan) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Days Essential Tour for Korea's past and present(Seoul, DMZ, Gyeongju, Busan)?
+

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Essential Tour for Korea's past and present(Seoul, DMZ, Gyeongju, Busan)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
