Best way to see Cairo and Luxor!

Latif, Nevin, and Victor (in Luxor) and Mohammed the driver made our trip to Egypt so much more memorable. Every day, they arrived as promised, and never had an issue with the fact that our small group of five were spread out over three different (close in proximity) hotels. It is awesome that both Nevin and Victor have degrees in Egyptology, which made all the tours that much more interesting. They took care of everything for us in advance, for example, arranging camel riders and shopping and lunch in the nicer places. They were also very personable and a treat to be with. Oh, and that Falafel place Nevin took us too! Yum!

Tour of Cairo, Memphis, Sakkara, Luxor, and Alexandria

Our Caravan of friends came on a trip from Chicago to Cairo Egypt. It wouldn’t have been as much exciting and comfortable if it wasn’t for Tour company Deluxe Tours in Cairo. We went to Luxor and Alexandria and many more places like Memphis and Sakkara. Our tour manager Mr. Latif Shawky was extremely great in planning our tours, excursions, Transportation, Dinner and Cruise on the Nile and great food. All the guides were well informed of the long history of Egypt and its Rulers, Museums, Pyramids, Temples and Tombs. They went out of their way to help us out with everything. We were well taken care of by the driver who started early and stayed late every day for as long as we were there. We look forward to visiting The new Grand Egyptian Museum in future. I will recommend anyone interested in going to Egypt, please contact Mr. Latif Shawky. 😎👍🏼

DeluxeTours Egypt - Memorable !!!

We visited Cairo and Luxor around Xmas time for a 5-day tour of Cairo and Luxor- I recall almost all of the arrangement was done by Deluxe Tours from hotel bookings, pickup, local flights, entrance fees for some of the sites, tour plan etc. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and George of Deluxe Tour was waiting to pick us at the airport and onwards to our hotel in Giza. Magnificent view of the pyramid was the first thing I saw upon waking and all excited for the tour of the day. Day one started off well, site seeing of the Great Pyramids, The Sphinx, the camel ride for yet another view (kids really enjoyed this bit). We had a very knowledgeable and passionate guide trying to squeeze great history within our short stay. Moving around was not an issue, we sampled some of the local delights with help of our guide. Luxor trip was equally exciting, we were looking forward to a balloon flight but that never took place as one of my girls was unwell. This is one place I will plan on visiting again as there is so much that we could have savored. On Xmas day, Deluxe arranged for a dinner on the cruise ship – fabulous: the live performance, the food , belly dancers, Nile by night……..

Awesome Egypt

We found Deluxe Tours (Navin/Latif) on Trip Advisor. They are awesome guides and very knowledgeable about Egyptology. We toured the major sites around Cairo including Giza Pyramids, Sakara Temple, New Cairo, Maadi, Old Cairo as well as the Cairo Museum and various beautiful mosques. Deluxe Tours coordinated our flight and tours to Luxor which was amazing. We only stayed an over night so we packed a multiday trip into an 8 hour day. Our guide Victor is very scholarly and fun. It was a great trip. Navin and Lawtif were great hosts and guides. Both are super friendly and fun. We are planning a return trip to cruise the Nile south from Luxor to Aswan. We will definitely choose Deluxe Tours again.

5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor cost?

+

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Days Around Cairo and Luxor start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel Ride, Lunch & Inside pyramids, Pyramids Sphinx Grand Egyptian Museum & Bazaar Or Nile Felucca. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
