The trip was unparalleled. The sights were breathtaking. The food was delicious. The memories were eternal. The locals were incredibly friendly. Mr Nev was an insatiable source of fun. Enough said...

Excellent fun packed trip with a top guide!

This was my first trip with Hotspots and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent accommodation throughout, varied and action packed activities and a great group. What made it even better was our guide, Uriel. He was truly exceptional. Kind, calm, caring and professional, he went the extra mile to ensure we all got the most from our trip. Despite inclement weather, which impacted our itinerary, he seamlessly rejigged our activities to make sure we didn’t miss out on anything. Uriel is a real people person and it’s clear he really enjoys his job. 5+ stars from me!!

Response from the operator: What a brilliant review to receive - thank you! We’re so pleased your first trip with us was such a memorable one and that you enjoyed the mix of accommodation, activities, and group dynamic along the way. A special thank you for highlighting our guide, Uriel. He truly leads with heart - calm, thoughtful, and always focused on making sure every guest gets the most out of their journey. Weather can sometimes throw us a curveball, but it’s wonderful to hear how smoothly he adapted the itinerary so you didn’t miss out. That flexibility and care make all the difference. We also love that you felt the trip was fun-packed while still well balanced - that’s exactly the experience we aim to create. By travelling with us, you’ve also supported our #tour2Cchange initiatives, helping us contribute to meaningful community and conservation projects along our routes. If you’d ever like to see how your adventure makes a positive impact, you can explore more on our 2Change page. Thank you again for the glowing 5+ stars - we’d love to welcome you back for another adventure soon! Warm greetings from South Africa, -Team Hotspots2C

5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $13310 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 327 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour?

+

Around 114 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Day Garden Route and Addo Safari - Best of South Africa Small Group Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
