About this experience
This PRIVATE tour is a great mixed experience of the Mythical Peloponnese, Zakynthos Island, Delphi, and Meteora. We will first explore Peloponnese's Unesco sites of Mycenae, Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, Nafplio town, and Ancient Olympia. A quick ferry ride will take us to the amazing blue of Zakynthos island to explore with or without a boat the famous Navagio. Next is the "bellybutton" of the world; Delphi with its famous Oracle. Last destination, the stunning Meteora site to visit two or three amazing monasteries depending on your fitness & timing. You'll be enjoying and experiencing places, people, and real Greek life. We plan for you an experience and not a tour for tourists! Your accommodation will be top class, as long as you don't book this experience last minute. Expect this tour to be about food & drink too! You are not limited to a fixed (touristy) menu. Food & drink is included and is a very important part of your experience! Be prepared for a real Greek experience!

Magical Mystery Tour
The team at Eudaimonia Tours are experienced professionals and booking our tour was a comfortable, welcoming process. Nikos helped with itinerary ideas and we booked multiple day tours and a 5 day tour. I had booked a large Airbnb in Athens for 10 family folk for 2 weeks. Two of us broke off to get away from the crowd at the Villa and it was sweet relief. We didn't want to fly to Santorini, or hang around Athens or at the beach. We wanted to see Greece ... as much as we had time for. It is a fascinating country. From island adventures with extraordinary turquoise waters and speed boat tours of amazing natural caves, to breathtaking lush green mountain drives up twisted roads thru ancient history, you let your imagination run free. The hotels were lovely, all with balconies and gorgeous views, and the food was delicious. Our Tour Guides, Nikos and Panayiotis, had expert knowledge of destinations and attractions. They took expert care of delivering us safely from place to place. Good time management and communications skills made sure we knew where to be and when. They were courteous and fun. Proper attention was given to details and our wishes were considered and accommodated when possible. Panayiotis, our leader on the 5 day tour, was a shining star and made our vacation take flight. We spent seven remarkable days with him and it all felt very special. He is playful and great fun, with a cute sense of humor and a beautiful, easy smile and sparkling eyes. His energy and enthusiasm were always evident but with a calm, laid-back, attentive manner. His casual, conversational style made us feel comfortable. We fell madly in love with him. We were under a magic spell. Were we bewitched by the Ancient Gods? We will be back very soon to book more private, magical mystery tours of Greece with Eudaimonia Tours....speeding thru more turquoise waters, exploring more amazing caves, driving winding roads of huge, rugged green mountains ... and especially ... beholding the power of the Ancient Gods. A Travel Experience of a Lifetime - Unforgetable
If you have ever considered going to Greece, you must take this tour. The extremely knowledgeable and considerate private tour guide made this trip one of the most memorable vacations in my life. Having a private tour guide made it possible to avoid the over populated tour bus vacationers and avoid standing in long lines for tickets to museums, ferries, and monuments. We were able to experience true Greek cuisine; our expert guide ordered for us in authentic Greek restaurants. At the end of our tour we were presented with a printed folio of everything we experienced as a reminder - and permanent record of the trip. I will continue to use a private guide in the future - I’m not one for large crowded buses.

6 Star Perfection ******
This was the most perfect introduction to our 3 week Greek holiday. We could not recommend it more highly! From the outset Nikos was incredibly friendly & responsive to all of our questions & planned our tour with expert precision. We chose a 5 day, 4 night tour & then elected to add an extra day/night for the unmissable Hydra island at Nikos’ suggestion. He helped to include some additional places that we especially wished to see. He also arranged Airport transfers with our guide to our Athens accommodation a few days prior to our tour, and at our departure. Our guide Theo was just lovely, friendly & incredibly knowledgeable about his beautiful country, it’s history & culture. And the food! We ate meals that we will never forget thanks to Theo’s genuine love of good food & the amazing restaurants & taverna we visited. He looked after us so well. We always felt safe, & in the best of hands, arriving at the busier tourist destinations at the most perfect times to beat the crowds & buses, to enjoy & appreciate them unhurried & unharried. Our tour took us from Athens to Corinth, Ancient Mycenae, Naplflio, Epidaurus. Spent the next day on Hydra. Our 2 overnights were in a lovely Napflio hotel. Day 3 saw us off to Ancient Olympia & then on to stunning Zakinthos Island for 2 nights, followed by Delphi. Our final overnight was at Meteora (don’t miss it!) before a gorgeous trip back to Athens via Thermopylae. Nikos had pre arranged all of our accomodation & we were very comfortable. Every day was scenic & informative thanks to Theo’s expert driving, extensive knowledge of Greek history & patient answering of all our endless questions! Thank you Theo! You have friends in us for life! We dearly hope to return to Greece to experience another perfect tour with you again before too long.

Exceptionally Amazing
When I say this was a trip of a life time, I truly mean it!!! I was referred by a friend who had used Eudaimonia twice for different trips and we all have had five-star experiences. Nikos was amazing at customizing the experience to exceed my expectations. He was quick to respond to any questions I had and gave clear recommendations with all the options available. His wife even made us delicious cookies for all our travels. We ate at the most amazing places and slept in high star hotels that blew our mind! Theo, our tour guide, was full of endless knowledge making us fall in love with everything about Greece! He was very hospitable, informative and always made sure we were taken care of. Theo became a part of our experience and are so thankful we met such a wonderful person. These guys truly went above and beyond! I recommend these two men very highly and this unparalleled experience! I have never reviewed a company before, so this goes to show how much I loved my experience and the company/men that made this happen. When reading all the five star reviews this company has it defiantly reflected true on our trip as well. My husband and I constantly sing their praises to anyone who listens!

Exceptional company by any measure!
The tour we took with Eudaimonia was truly the highlight of our 16 day trip to Greece – and also the part I was the most anxious about. Based on what I read in guide books, I was concerned about whether it would be a legitimate company or if there would be extra hidden fees. Ultimately, we chose Eudaimonia in large part because it had earned a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence – and I can assure you, it is well deserved! There are several reasons we LOVED Eudaimonia: 1) Nikos (the owner) was very responsive to our emails - and even called me when we were planning to make sure his recommendations would fit with what we wanted. He was direct, straightforward, honest and kind. 2). Our driver, Theo, was exceptional. There were 7 people in our family – 3 adults and 4 teenagers and every single one of us loved him! He was part of our vacation and is a wonderful person that I am so glad we were able to meet. He took care of everything we could have possibly needed. He has a masters degree in ancient world studies and while he could not go into historical sites with us (Greek law requires you to be a licensed tour guide), he gave us more than enough information to understand what we were seeing and why it was significant. 3). The hotels and lunch restaurants were outstanding (Theo ordered our lunches for us and after 5 days together, knew us very well!). We were taken to terrific restaurants – many we would not have found on our own – and we loved them all. Truly. 4). The tour was well timed and we were always on schedule. The itinerary was action packed yet there was enough down time in the evenings for us to relax. We originally considered renting a car and doing this tour ourselves, which would have been a big mistake. It would have been difficult to navigate the trip, it was so helpful to have someone with us who spoke the language and could make recommendations to us. Ultimately, we learned a lot about Greece and Greek culture through our time with Theo. I cannot recommend Eudaimonia enough!
