A highlight of our Chile trip
Very fun and interactive class. The host was extremely warm & bubbly — her home matches her personality. Would definitely recommend especially as a couple or group activity if you’re in Chile and want to be further immersed in the culture.
Response from the operator: We’re so happy the class gave you a deeper connection to Chilean culture! A warm home, hands-on cooking, and sharing the table together can make a place feel very different from simply visiting it. Thank you for recommending us! 🇨🇱 Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Fun with food and (new) friends!
We had a fantastic time learning authentic recipes in a Chilean home. Our small group cooked, enjoyed the fruits of our labor and enjoyed hearing the backstory and tips on each dish. We laughed, smiled and cried (only while cutting onions). Would highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for this fantastic review! We love that you captured what makes a home cooking experience special: preparing authentic Chilean recipes together, sharing the stories and practical tips behind each dish, and enjoying the meal as a group. And yes, the onions occasionally provide their own little emotional moment! 🧅😄 So glad you made new friends along the way. Cheers, Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Bernardita was amazing!!...
Bernardita was amazing!! We had such an incredible night and EVERYONE is asking us for the recipes, but our host was the best part. Thanks Bernardita for your humor and for letting us play with your pup!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a lovely review! We’re thrilled you had such an incredible night with Bernardita and that the recipes were such a hit that everyone back home is asking for them! 😊 We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words—especially about her humor and the special welcome from her four-legged helper. It sounds like you left with great food, great memories, and a few new favorite recipes. Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Great small group cooking and eating experience
Our guide, Greg, was wonderful, personable. Our group of three and three others were made to feel at home in his house while he walked us through a few local recipes, and we shared stories and Chile tourism tips. Greg was very knowledgeable and we had nice conversations over a great dinner (that we had cooked ourselves).
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a lovely review! We’re delighted Greg made your group feel at home and that you enjoyed not only preparing the local dishes together but also sharing stories and getting his personal Chile travel tips. There’s something especially rewarding about sitting down to a dinner you’ve helped create yourself, and we’re so glad you enjoyed the whole evening! Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 68 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks?
+
Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4h Cooking Class in Santiago : 8 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
