Flights organised between 9:30am and 2:30pm will always be premium times to fly due to the sun being at the best angle overhead the reef. The route flown will usually take in Green Island, Upolu Cay, Oyster, Arlington, Vlassof and Michaelmas Reefs as well as views of Cape Grafton, False Cape, Double Island and the Northern Beaches of Cairns including Palm Cove.

A fantastic experience....
A fantastic experience. We were sceptical if the airplane will be good but we were really surprised. We went over so many different reefs with spectacular views. Although our first flight was cancelled due to weather they were kind enough to book on a day and tour of our choice. Extremely gracious company giving us update on the status of weather and finally took us on a fabulous ride. Special thanks to all the staff of Great Barrier Reef scenic flights

Awesome time viewing one of the worlds greatest wonders!
Had an awesome experience with Daintree Air Services - all the staff were super helpful, happy and informative! What an incredible sightseeing experience - our pilot Cameron was great fun and very knowledgeable! We were lucky with air traffic being busy - so had extra time in the sky! On landing Cameron and the other pilot in our group Charlie were great taking photos for us all - even including my husband who didn’t fly!
