100% Recommend
It was my boys first time in a UTV. They LOVED it and can’t wait till we can go again. The scenery was absolutely amazing and our guide was so good with kids. I can’t remember his name but he’s from Cali and has 3 boys.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the amazing review! We’re thrilled your boys had an unforgettable first UTV experience and that your guide made it fun and comfortable for them. We know exactly who you’re talking about, and we’ll make sure he hears your kind words!

Our guide Jack was an amazing young man. Full of spirit and listened to what we really wanted to get out of our tour. He took us to places that most riders don't get to experience

Unforgettable Sunset ATV Adventure!
My mom (68) and I did the sunset-chasing ATV tour, and it was absolutely incredible! Our guides, Will and Dave, were both awesome — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. Will went out of his way to make sure my mom was comfortable and confident the whole time, which meant so much to us. The sand dunes were amazing, and the views at sunset were just breathtaking — photos don’t do it justice. Everything felt safe, well-organized, and full of good vibes. We couldn’t recommend this experience more! If you’re anywhere near southern Utah, go see it — it’s an absolute must-do.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Kelly, for sharing such a thoughtful review of your Sunset Chasing Adventure! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your mom had an unforgettable time exploring the sand dunes and taking in those breathtaking sunset views. Will and Dave will be so happy to know their care and attention made the experience both fun and comfortable — they’re truly passionate about creating memorable moments for every guest. We’re grateful for your kind words and high recommendation. It was our pleasure to host you both, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! – The ATV Offroad Adventures Team

Dave was the best guide & the overall experience was so much fun! The scenery was stunning and it was so fun to drive on the red sand! Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Wow, thank you for the amazing review. Yes, Dave is an amazing guide and has been for over 8 years! You can't go wrong with any of our tour guides and of course, the beauty we get to show you.

Four wheeling fun.
My wife and I did the ATV Sunset Tour with Dave and it was a blast. Dave had lots of experience and took us to some real fun spots. He had a lot of knowledge in the area and the history. A real playground for grownups, highly recommend it - ask for Dave Holton.
Response from the operator: Thank you and we are so lucky to have Dave helping train all of our adventure guides! You can't go wrong with an adventure on Sand Mountain because the scenery is just spectacular!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St George.
How much does 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $307 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St George usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St George is not rushed.
Is 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St George, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St George can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St George and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Hour Greater Zion Sunset ATV Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St George within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St George?
+
St George sits below Zion National Park: guided Zion day tours, canyoneering and slot canyon trips, Snow Canyon jeep runs, and golf and hiking through red rock desert. On Outty we rank every St George experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Greater Zion: Sand Hollow Dunes ATV Tour, Greater Zion's 4 Hour Adventure Rally, Kayak/SUP Tour: Birds, Beavers, Turtles, maybe even Cliff Jumping. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St George?
+
March to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St George?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
