An Unforgettable Amazon Jungle Experience with Gerson
Our journey into the Amazon jungle was truly unforgettable, and Gerson played an important part in making it special. His knowledge of the jungle, the rivers, the wildlife and the local way of life is incredible. Gerson was kind, patient, attentive and always willing to help. You can feel his genuine connection with the Amazon and his deep respect for the land and its people. Travelling through the jungle with someone who truly knows and loves this environment made us feel safe and allowed us to experience the Amazon in a much more authentic way. The beauty of the rainforest, the sounds, the rivers and the wildlife will stay with me forever. Thank you, Gerson, for your kindness, your knowledge and for sharing a little piece of your Amazon with us. A beautiful experience that I would highly recommend.

Amazing 🤩
If you have ever dreamed of visiting the Amazon Rainforest, stop hesitating and book a tour immediately. My recent trip into the jungle was an absolute dream come true and easily one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life. From the second we stepped off the riverboat, we were completely immersed in nature. The sheer scale and beauty of the Amazon are impossible to capture in photos. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle—howler monkeys in the distance and birds chirping—was unforgettable. Our guides were fantastic and possessed an unbelievable ability to spot wildlife. Thanks to them, we saw pink river dolphins, sloths, caimans during a thrilling night safari, and a huge variety of colourful macaws and toucans. Walking through the dense canopy tracks while learning about the medicinal plants used by indigenous communities was incredibly eye-opening.The accommodations exceeded my expectations, perfectly balancing eco-friendly living with great comfort. Eating fresh, locally sourced jungle cuisine after a long day of exploring was a highlight in itself. It is a rare and humbling experience to disconnect from the modern world and connect so deeply with nature. This Amazon tour was perfectly organised, safe, thrilling, and deeply inspiring. I cannot recommend it enough—it is a bucket-list adventure you will never forget!

Is 4 Days Survival Tours and Expeditions in the Amazon,Iquitos-Peru worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Iquitos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Survival Tours and Expeditions in the Amazon,Iquitos-Peru?
+

Is 4 Days Survival Tours and Expeditions in the Amazon,Iquitos-Peru suitable for kids and families?

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 4 Days Survival Tours and Expeditions in the Amazon,Iquitos-Peru?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Iquitos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Iquitos and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Days Survival Tours and Expeditions in the Amazon,Iquitos-Peru start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Iquitos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Iquitos?
+
On Outty we rank every Iquitos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 4 days 3 nights on the banks of the Amazon River, Amazing Jungle 3Days 2Nights - Amazon Wonder Expeditions, Belen Market and La Venecia Loretana Tour With A Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Iquitos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Iquitos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
