Friend loved the small group size
My friend and I took the 4 day Dahabiya cruise and he loved the small group size. There were only a few guests on board so it felt like a private tour. Our Egyptologist guide Samir explained every site in detail. We visited Philae Temple which was beautiful. The Valley of the Kings was incredible with its hidden tombs. Abu Simbel was a highlight despite the early start. The food on board was fresh and tasty. The crew were friendly and helpful. The whole 4 days were peaceful and personal. Admission fee was fair for the package. Length of visit was 4 days. Atmosphere was intimate and relaxing. Crowd size was about 8 people on the boat. Staff were professional and kind. Best for friends who want a private experience. Yasser had arranged the cruise for us.

An Authentic Way to Experience the Nile
Choosing a Dahabiya instead of a large cruise ship was the best decision we made. The smaller boat created a friendly and intimate atmosphere, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of the Nile. The service on board was outstanding, and the crew paid attention to every detail to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed delicious meals, peaceful evenings on the deck, and unforgettable visits to temples along the route. Every part of the itinerary was well organized, and the experience felt personal rather than crowded. It was an amazing journey that gave us wonderful memories of Upper Egypt.

A Peaceful and Unforgettable Nile Journey
This 4-day Dahabiya cruise from Aswan to Luxor was one of the most relaxing experiences of our trip. The traditional boat had a beautiful design, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere throughout the journey. The cabins were comfortable, the meals were fresh and delicious, and the crew always greeted us with a smile. We loved sailing slowly along the Nile and enjoying the quiet scenery away from the larger cruise ships. The guided visits to the temples were well organized, and our guide shared interesting historical information that made every stop more meaningful. This cruise was the perfect combination of comfort, culture, and relaxation, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt.

+

When is the best time to visit Aswan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Aswan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
