I love this trip!!!

This itinerary was absolutely incredible from beginning to end, but what truly made it special was how smoothly everything was handled by our guide Fowi and our driver Ismael. From the moment we left Tangier, Fowi made us feel comfortable, sharing interesting stories and cultural insights at every stop, while Ismael ensured every journey between destinations was safe, relaxed, and enjoyable. Chefchaouen felt like a dream, and Fowi gave us the perfect balance between guided exploration and free time. Arriving in Fès, his knowledge really stood out — he explained the history, traditions, and hidden gems of the city in a way that made everything come alive. The long drive toward Merzouga was surprisingly enjoyable thanks to the well-planned stops. Passing through Ifrane, Midelt, and the Ziz Gorges, we never felt tired or rushed. Reaching the desert was a magical moment, and Fowi made sure we experienced it fully, from sunset views to understanding the local culture. The journey continued through the Todra and Dadès Gorges, each more impressive than the last, and throughout it all, Ismael handled the roads with incredible professionalism, especially through the winding Atlas Mountains. The final stretch through Skoura, Ouarzazate, and Ait Ben Haddou was the perfect ending. Fowi’s attention to detail and constant care for the group made us feel looked after at all times. This trip wouldn’t have been the same without them — truly an unforgettable experience thanks to such an amazing team.

Response from the operator: Thank you for trusting us with your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and help you make the most of every moment. We would love to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco.

BEST THING OF MY LIFE

This tour was the highlight of our time in Morocco. The journey itself was stunning — kasbahs, valleys, and desert landscapes everywhere you look. But the moment we arrived in Merzouga and saw the dunes rising like golden mountains, we were speechless. The camel ride into the desert during sunset was peaceful and beautiful. Later that evening, we tried sandboarding down the dunes, which was way more fun than we expected! Sitting around the fire at night with Berber music under the stars made it an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you to Fouad for guiding us with such passion and humor, to Ismael for his smooth and safe driving, and to Meriam for organizing everything perfectly before the trip even began.

Response from the operator: Thank you for trusting us with your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and help you make the most of every moment. We would love to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco.

Wonderful experience

The tour exceeded all expectations. Each destination felt unique and unforgettable. The charm of Chefchaouen with its blue-painted houses was simply magical, while Fes offered a deep cultural experience with its ancient medina. The road south through Ifrane and Midelt showed a completely different side of Morocco. The lush palm groves of Ziz Valley were spectacular. Reaching the golden dunes of Merzouga was the highlight of the entire trip. The beauty of Todgha Gorge and the winding landscapes of Dades Gorge made the journey even more memorable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for entrusting us with your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and to help you make the most of every moment. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco.

It was great!

An absolutely fantastic tour that shows the real diversity of Morocco. Starting in Tangier and heading to the famous blue streets of Chefchaouen was a wonderful beginning. The historical richness of Fes was impressive and full of culture. Driving through Midelt and along the stunning Ziz Valley gave us incredible views of palm groves and desert landscapes. The camel trek in Merzouga was a highlight, especially watching the sunset over the dunes. Exploring Todgha Gorge and the dramatic rock formations of Dades Gorge made the trip even more special before reaching Marrakech.

Response from the operator: Thank you for entrusting us with your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and to help you make the most of every moment. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco.

Great

This journey across Morocco was incredible from start to finish. Beginning in Tangier and visiting the magical blue town of Chefchaouen was the perfect introduction to the country. Walking through the historic streets of Fes felt like stepping into another century. The landscapes kept changing as we traveled through Ifrane, Midelt, and the beautiful palm valleys of Ziz Valley. The Sahara experience in Merzouga was unforgettable, especially the camel ride at sunset and the peaceful desert camp under the stars. The towering cliffs of Todgha Gorge and the scenic road through Dades Gorge were breathtaking. Visiting Ait Benhaddou before crossing the Atlas Mountains into Marrakech was the perfect ending.

Response from the operator: Thank you for entrusting us with your trip. It was a true honor to accompany you in the desert. Our priority is to ensure your safety and to help you make the most of every moment. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in Morocco.

4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tangier.

How much does 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco cost?

+

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tangier usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tangier is not rushed.

Is 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tangier, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tangier can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tangier and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Day Tour from Tangier to the Desert of Morocco start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tangier within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tangier?

+

On Outty we rank every Tangier experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tangier: Chefchaouen Day Trip with Local Guide, 7 days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech Morocco Tours, From Tangier Private Full Day-Trip to Chefchaouen. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tangier?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tangier?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
