During your four-day nomadic experience, you will enjoy a taste of Mongolian life. Your journey will begin as you travel by train across the vast Mongolian steppe from Ulaanbaatar to Shaamar soum, accompanied by your native guide. Once in Shaamar soum, you will take a short car ride to the site of your nomadic homestay, just outside of Zuunburen. For the next two days, you will experience Mongolian life and culture like it has been for hundreds of years through activities such as milking cows, making dairy products, riding horses, and exploring the surrounding scenic countryside, including the natural beauty, Sukhanii Hutul. Each night, you will return to the ger you will share with your local nomadic family and enjoy local cuisine. A life experience where you can become one with nature
At first, I signed up for this tour for the easy reason that it was cheap, but now I wholeheartedly feel that participating in this tour was better than any other. The nomadic experience I had under the vast grasslands, mountains, blue sky, and starry sky was very refreshing. Eating, exercise, labor, sleep, and excretion. By doing everything in life under those conditions, I felt as if I had melted into nature, and my instincts as a living being were stimulated. The host family had very rich hearts and welcomed me warmly. I was able to have a delicious goat meat meal in response to the request to see a goat slaughter. I think it's good to ask if there are any activities you want to try. The itinerary is very flexible. It's like there's one activity for breakfast, one for lunch, and one for dinner, and the specific activities change each day. There are over 12 hours from dinner until the next morning's breakfast, which is basically free time. I went for a run at sunrise, and then I got to milk the cows. The food is delicious and the scenery is amazing, so please try to join. Thank you to all the host family members.

Wonderful experience
This was a fantastic experience and was an amazing way to see more of this great country. The train ride was a great way to see lots of the landscape and have interactions with people. The entire family was warm, welcoming, and had a good sense of humor. They were very accommodating to whatever type of activities you wanted to try from horeback riding, some archery, swimming, working with the anomals, etc.I really enjoyed this stay and formed a lot of great memories.

An unforgettable and authentic Mongolian experience
Our stay with this Mongolian family was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of the family. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous. We got to experience Mongolian culture in such an authentic way, enjoy delicious homemade food, and learn so much about their way of life. They were always happy to help and make sure we were comfortable. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Mongolia, and we’re very grateful for the memories we made with them.

Rural Mongolia Nomadic Lifestyle
This was a very authentic rural Mongolian experience. There was no running water, and the accommodations were much more rugged than I expected. We ended up sharing a yurt with another couple, which made for a pretty tight living space, so be prepared.That said, once I adjusted my expectations, I really enjoyed it. We rode horses, attended a traditional Mongolian festival, played the bone game, and tried so many delicious local foods. The animals were adorable. There were sheep, cows, horses, and chickens all around, which really added to the experience. The pickup and coordination were very simple and well organized. One thing to keep in mind is that getting there involves a 9-hour train ride each way from Ulaanbaatar, so two days of your trip will be spent traveling. Overall, this isn’t a luxury experience it’s a true taste of rural Mongolian Nomadic life. It was definitely rough at times, but once I got used to it, I found it to be a really unique and memorable adventure
