A Trip I’ll Remember for a Long Time

I had the best time on this tour, and a huge part of that was because of Andrei. I’m a very curious person and asked a lot of questions throughout the trip, and Andrei was always patient, happy to answer them, and never made me feel like I was asking too much. What I loved most was how much he genuinely enjoys what he does. He told us this is his favorite job, and it really shows. When someone loves what they do, it makes all the difference. Whether it was running around the sheep, taking the bumpy road to Altyn Arashan, hiking through the canyons, or stopping the car randomly because the view was too beautiful to drive past, every day was fun. Kyrgyzstan is stunning, and Andrei made sure we got to experience as much of it as possible. He also took us to some amazing places to eat—we were honestly never not full! Every meal was great, and it felt like he always knew the best spots. He also took some fantastic photos for us, which I’ll be looking back on for a long time. I joined the tour with a couple, and the three of us ended up having such a great time together. A special thank you as well to Talgat, who was kind enough to help me out in a situation during the trip, and to Adilet, who patiently answered my questions for months before I booked. I wasn’t even sure I was going to take this trip, but she was always responsive, helpful, and never pushy. Thank you all for making this such a memorable experience. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about what they do, and that made all the difference. Recommended 100/10

An unforgetable trip with Datka Travel

We absolutely loved the itinerary, which was thoughtfully planned and perfectly paced throughout the trip. Every site we visited beautifully showcased the stunning landscapes and natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan. The horse riding experience, eagle hunting experience, and the unforgettable jeep ride up to Altyn Arashan were definite highlights of the journey and created memories we will always cherish. Andrei was an exceptional guide throughout our trip. His depth of knowledge and detailed explanations made every destination and sightseeing experience incredibly engaging and educational. It was evident that he was passionate about what he does, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a meaningful and enjoyable experience. What truly stood out was his attentiveness and thoughtfulness towards our preferences. He took note of the little things that mattered to us and remembered them throughout the journey. For example, after learning how much we enjoyed apricot tea, he thoughtfully ensured it was ordered for us during our meals. Similarly, once he found out that we liked seabuckthorn tea, he made it a point to arrange that as well. These small but meaningful gestures made us feel genuinely cared for. Andrei also made sure we were always well taken care of and well fed, with excellent food recommendations that allowed us to experience local cuisine at its best. One particular instance that reflected his outstanding work ethic was when we needed water late at night — he personally went out to purchase it for us without hesitation. His dedication to ensuring our comfort at all times was truly commendable. Throughout the trip, he ensured that every sight and activity was well covered with insightful commentaries, making the experience far more enriching than we had expected. There were countless instances where his professionalism, attentiveness, and commitment shone through. A huge shout out to Andrei for being such an incredible guide. He made the trip significantly more enjoyable, seamless, and educational for all of us, and we are truly grateful for his efforts. Not forgetting Izat, who was also extremely efficient and responsive in attending to our needs and handling all the follow-ups. She thoughtfully checked in on us during the trip as well, which we deeply appreciated. Her attentiveness and care added greatly to the overall positive experience. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Talgat, who assisted us in booking the upgraded yurt that we had requested. He thoughtfully recommended several suitable options to ensure that we got exactly what we needed, and his assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we would like to express our deep appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the entire team. Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication truly exceeded our expectations and made this journey unforgettable. We will certainly be very happy to recommend them to all our friends and relatives without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic

I can say that before my number 1 country in life was Switzerland, TO know Kyrgyzstan. And the fact that I have liked the country so much is due to the fact that the DATKA TRAVEL was a thousand note agency. My guide, ANDREI, more... I have nothing to complain about my private 4-day tour. I was provided with the best food, hotels, photos...The guide was simply sensational. The places visited are absurdly beautiful. I will return to the country several times and entrust my days to the operator. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic 🤩

Fantastic company. we booked directly with Talgat and saved a fortune doing so. this is the same company the large travel agents in the UK would use. Talgat kept in contact with us via whatsapp leading up to our trip and replied to any questions immediately. He met us the night before our trip at our hotel to explain everything and was easily contactable through out the trip. we had a english speaking guide throughout and it was truly one of the best trips we have ever done… really felt like we had a unique experience. Anything we wanted to do was sorted for us and the trip was tailor made to our requirements… even when we wanted to do something different mid trip.. If your considering booking with Talgat my advice is do not hesitate 😊

4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bishkek.

How much does 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bishkek usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bishkek is not rushed.

Is 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bishkek, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bishkek can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bishkek and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Day Issyk Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bishkek within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bishkek?

+

On Outty we rank every Bishkek experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ala Archa Nature Park Essential Half Day Tour, All in one-day: Bishkek city tour and Ala-Archa National Park, All-Inclusive Day Trip: Burana, Canyons & Issyk Kul with Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bishkek?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bishkek?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
