Essaouira, my second home, my place of the heart.
I'm back for the sixth time. I went horseback riding at sunset for a few days and the second week I participated, for the second time in the Atlantic Coast trekking. What can I say, this has become a second family for me. As soon as I have a few days off I escape to these places that warm my heart. Erika, Omar and all the collaborators are wonderful, special, professional and unique people. Here you feel at home, pampered, spoiled and welcomed. The animals are nothing short of wonderful. Well kept, loved and cared for. I don't know a more special place in the world. A special thanks to Ayoub, who as well as a guide, made me wonderful videos and photos on horseback. Last but first in my heart, a thought to my wonderful companion who made this wonderful trek, Imlil, the best horse you could wish for! I love you all, from first to last!

In love with this land, these people, these animals.
Returned for the fifth time, the penultimate one in July, where I participated in the Costa Atlantica trek. Back now after five wonderful days, as always. Every time coming back here is like coming home. Omar, Erica, Mustapha and all the staff are simply wonderful: professional, kind, friendly and unique. They do everything to meet everyone's needs. Super horses, I am literally in love with them! I love this land, these people, these animals. I have already purchased the plane ticket to return here in July and, if I can, also at Easter. If you come to Morocco you can't miss coming here!

Overnight stay in a Berber tent, near a beach — wonderful - thank you Mustapha!
My family and I stayed overnight in a Berber tent. It was a wonderful experience. The people at Ranch de Diabat are really nice and friendly. Mustapha was our guide. He took us to a beach approximately 25 minutes drive out of Essaouira. At the camp site, there were two large Berber tents just for us. In one tent, we ate dinner (see photo). In the other tent, we slept. Just before sunset, we walked on the beach and our daughter played with rocks (see picture). Mustapha was a great host. He played music with us. And he was totally ok with me asking really simple questions, such as "What's the difference between Berbers and Bedouins?" The driver and the cooks (sorry, I forgot their names) were really kind. Our driver was super friendly with our daughter. The stars were amazing.

Beautiful experience
Thanks to our guide Othmane we had a lovely horse riding day on the beach and in the dunes (even if 3/4 hours on a horse back can be a bit long for beginners and you should expect some body aching at the end of the day - - we would still do it again). Going in December it felt at times as being the only ones out there and that was very pleasant. Picnic was delicious and we enjoyed sharing it with Othmane who happily chatted to us and gave us more insight on the country. And so did Mustapha later on. He was our guide for the night and entertained us around a camp fire during our night in a Berber camp. We loved the magical setting - - on a cliff facing the ocean - - , the food was great (thank you to the chef!), the tent comfortable and on top of that Mustapha was very friendly and knowledgeable. Apart from being a born-to-be guide he also turned ou to be a skilled photographer, making his dromadaries pose with us in the funniest photos! We highly recommend both experiences 🙂

Our guide, Moustafa, was brilliant. From his positive relationship with the camels and his knowledge of geography, flora and fauna to his excellent photo ops hrlp and super customer service, this was am u forgettable day.while we did not stay the night at the camp, the Berber tents were braitiful6and our sunset dinner under a tent with beach fire was perfect. Absolutely recommend!

3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Essaouira.
How much does 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp cost?
+
Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Essaouira usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Essaouira is not rushed.
Is 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Essaouira, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Essaouira can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Essaouira and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Hours Horse Riding with Dinner and Overnight Berber Camp start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Essaouira within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Essaouira?
+
On Outty we rank every Essaouira experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 hours ride on camel at sunset, Big dunes and atlantic coast tour 2 HOURS, Big Cap Sim dunes and forest 3 hours tour.. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Essaouira?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Essaouira?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
