Don’t fall for this scam business!!!!

STOP! DO NOT BOOK THIS ACTIVITY!!! I don’t think this is a legitimate business. The owner, Billy Bob, never showed up. As mentioned in the June 2026 review, we were ghosted by the owner. The resort across the street owns the dock where we were to meet up, and staff said that they do not know this business. The phone number provided at booking is not the correct number. Don’t fall for this scam! Please @Trip Advisor and @Viator, remove this listing ASAP. Thank you.

    No Billy Bob

Tried to contact tour guide all morning because of questionable weather. Could not reach by phone, email, text or through app. Drove to Glow Paddle location as instructed in app. No one was there, no signage for Billy Bob's, as indicated, either. Waited 15 minutes before contacting Viator. Apparently, the number listed is incorrect as well, as finally received a reply indicating we had the wrong number. Viator needs to discontinue this listing as it apparently does not exist and is either a scam or an old listing.

    Ghosted by Billy Bob

They did not show up! We got to the meeting place 30 minutes early. Tried calling the number and sending a message. The glow paddle place didn’t even know this existed. Viator also tried contacting them, but no luck. Billy Bob sucks!!!!!!

    Neat Experience

Fantastic experience! The motorized float activity was a blast from start to finish. Easy to control and incredibly enjoyable, it provided non-stop fun. Highly recommended for a memorable day out on the water!

    Bad attraction 👎🏼

Not worth your time. The “motorized” float was not powerful enough to guide you anywhere with the current. Three of them were like the photo and one was a round one. We got no directions or advice. Half effort and not worth $140 at all.

Response from the operator: HI There, We're very sorry you didn't enjoy your experience! We think if you would've actually gone out on the floats you would've! We tried very hard to provide a great full effort, including driving an hour away to get that extra raft when one popped the night before! We will try better in the future!

3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pensacola.

How much does 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pensacola usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pensacola is not rushed.

Is 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 37 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Pensacola, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pensacola can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pensacola and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Hour Sandbar Adventure on Motorized Floats start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pensacola within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pensacola?

    +

Pensacola sells dolphin cruises, sailing charters on Pensacola Bay, naval aviation history, snorkel trips to the USS Oriskany wreck area and long stretches of quartz-white beach. On Outty we rank every Pensacola experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Shared Dolphin Cruise in Pensacola Beach | Frisky Mermaid, Pensacola Beach Jolly Dolphin Cruise and Scenic Bay Tour, Pensacola Beach Dolphin and Scenic Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pensacola?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pensacola?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
