We enjoyed the bike tour very much. Tel asked us what we want and we let him go to see all the nice things around Madrid. First stop the Cuesta de Moyano book street. Very nice and from generation to generation. I needed to have a sandwich and he stopped at a good one. Further we saw all the old building and districts. We loved it and have inspirations for today walking ourselves. Thanks

    Memorable Bike Tour

We recently booked a bike riding tour with our family, and our guide Julian made the experience truly unforgettable. He was phenomenal - patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history of Spain and beyond. Despite having a group of 5 children under 13, 2 adults and dealing with 90-degree heat, Julian remained flexible and was an extraordinary teacher. He was truly remarkable. Things to note for future bookings: We weren't provided with the exact address of the business providing the tour or phone number of our guide, which resulted in us being 30 minutes late after asking other tour operators about the whereabouts of the location. Thankfully, Julian kindly extended our tour time. To avoid any issues, I would recommend requesting the exact location and contact information for the local business providing the service. This tour is for experienced bike riders as you’ll need to navigate busy streets of Madrid. We incorporated both walking and bike riding due to the age of some of our group members.

Bad experience with guide in Madrid

First time in Madrid and we wanted a guide to discover the city and understand its history. We had a nice guide but who didn't know the city at all and who wasn't able to tell us about the things we saw when we asked. Very expensive for an experience that was of no use to us because we could have done it alone. We do not recommend this organization which puts the guide in difficulty and leaves the client unhappy with their experience.

Response from the operator: Bonjour ! Merci d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire part de vos commentaires ! 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Hour Private Bike Tour in Madrid with a Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
