What you get
About this experience
The Views & Brews electric bike adventure packs in sweeping Blue Ridge mountain views and 3 brewery tasting stops along a fun but safe course that winds from town to mountain and back again. After launching from the RMA shop at 2pm, you'll pass through neighborhoods and village centers before crossing the river into downtown Roanoke. In addition to tracing the Roanoke River and Mill Mountain greenway trails, you'll move through the central city and even enjoy a spin across the mountain on a fun (but easy!) gravel trail. Safety is our top priority, so this activity is designed to include ample instruction as we build your skills on the e-bike. If you are unsure about participation, or feel you may need additional instruction before participating, please just reach out to discuss further. This is not the activity to choose if you aren't comfortable handling a bike. We recommend renting an e-bike for riding on the greenway for guests who aren't comfortable on a bike.

Great local brewery. Great local brewery! We will sample some of their great beers at the base of Mill Mountain and along the Roanoke River. Their patio is a great place to take our first pit stop before we make our way downtown.

First time e-bikers
This was I and my wife’s first time on an e-bike. It was a quick learning curve and we both had a great ride and a few great beer samples. Our guide was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a fun way to get introduced to Roanoke.

Might've been fun - business canceled on us!
Might've been fun. Didn't get to go. Online system allowed booking, but waited several days for confirmation and got none. When I checked in with them, they claimed that because it was for the "day before a holiday" they didn't have staff and could not do the tour. I get it that staffing is difficult these days. But then don't allow your systems to gather bookings for days you know you can't fulfill. And more importantly, when a mistake like this happens, "proactively" reach out to your prospective customer (don't force them to come to you), own up to the mistake, and apologize. Simple best practices for any business. We wish these guys luck with their business, they need it.
Response from the operator: We’re sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced with your booking. We’ve since reviewed our booking system and scheduling processes to help ensure that unavailable dates are clearly indicated. As we explained, we were in communication with our staff about your request due to the proximity to the holiday. Again, we apologize that we gave you the option to request a tour that day, and that we were not more prompt getting back to you. Thank you very much for sharing your feedback.

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Roanoke.
How much does 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke cost?
+
Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Roanoke usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Roanoke is not rushed.
Is 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 70 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Roanoke, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Roanoke can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Roanoke and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Hour E-Bike Sightseeing and Breweries Tour in Roanoke start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Roanoke within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Roanoke?
+
On Outty we rank every Roanoke experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Downtown Roanoke Food, History & Cultural Tour, Roanoke River Greenway E-bike Rental, Mountain Bike Tour from The Roanoke Star. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Roanoke?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Roanoke?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
