Our trip started out...
Our trip started out great with Marty as our van driver. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He answered even our off the wall questions. He took great care of us both to and from the tour. Tim was great out on the water. He too was very knowledgeable and kind. He made sure we stayed hydrated and answered all our questions. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! It sounds like Marty and Tim took great care of you from start to finish. We love hearing that their knowledge of the area added to your time with us and that they were ready for all the off-the-wall questions! We appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back to the river again someday.

Wonderful way to see Hoover Dam
We were picked up by Izzy and taken to our starting point. He shared a lot of info about the area. Then we had Sarah for our guide on the raft. She was wonderful. Between her knowledge of Hoover dam and her love for nature and the canyon, we learned a lot. We saw long horn sheep and turkey vultures. Took several swim stops because of the extreme heat. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful 5-star review! We're so glad you enjoyed your day on the river and had the chance to experience the incredible wildlife and scenery of Black Canyon. We will be sure to share your kind words with Izzy and Sarah. They will love hearing they helped make your trip so memorable. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back again in the future!

Fantastic experience!
We took the shuttle from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam and back to Vegas. Steve and Sara were gracious hosts and guides. They both provided the history of the dam, Boulder City, and surrounding area. I highly recommend this tour. Gorgeous scenery, great people, and I would do it again. If you're attending a concert at the Sphere, or a convention, be sure to plan a day for this trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful review! We love hearing that the journey itself- from Boulder City to Black Canyon—became part of the experience. Steve and Sarah will be so happy to know they helped make your day memorable. We appreciate your recommendation and hope your next trip to Las Vegas includes another day on the river

Great day of relaxing and seeing nature.
This was my third time to do this over the last 15 years. This a very relaxing easy going refreshing thing to do. This trip was just as good as the last two. The tour guide was very professional. She excelled at her job. This is a fantastic way to spend a day after a week in a Las Vegas convention.
Response from the operator: Thank you for returning to raft with us again! It means so much that you've chosen to make us part of your Las Vegas visits over the past 15 years. We are delighted to hear this trip lived up to your previous experiences and that our guide helped make your day both relaxing and memorable. We look forward to welcoming you back for visit number four!

Fabulous!!!
Kathleen was our guide and absolutely fabulous. We got local historical information that was fascinating. Saw birds and big horn sheep. The river was calm and the trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would not hesitate to go again. Scott was our driver and land guide. Got a wonderful history lesson on Boulder City. Easy pickup and drop off from our hotel in Vegas. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Response from the operator: Reviews like yours mean the world to our team. Thank you for taking the time to recognize both Kathleen and Scott for making your day so special. There's nothing better than combining incredible scenery, wildlife, and local stories into one memorable adventure. We look forward to sharing the river with you again whenever you're back in Southern Nevada!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.
How much does 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.
Is 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 404 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport?
+
Around 141 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Hour Black Canyon Motorized Raft Tour with Optional Transport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?
+
Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?
+
October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Las Vegas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
