Nonrefundable

Be aware of 100% nonrefundable policy. Great communication otherwise. You have the option to upgrade your train car seat to private for a reasonable price.

Response from the operator: Dear Robert, Hope you and your family are doing well. Thank you so much for your feedback. We really appreciate it. We are so sorry that we can't get you a refund because your booking was cancelled in last minute. We paid for train tickets, accommodation, drivers, tour guides before your trip. Our team tried their best to deal with all local suppliers to see whether they could get a refund for your booking but they still applied a full charge as their last minute cancellation policy. Thank you so much for your understanding. Best regards , Swallow Travel team.

What an amazing trip!

We have just had a 14 day family travel adventure through Vietnam with yourselves. Starting in Hanoi and finishing in Ho Chi Minh. It was the most amazing adventure. We loved every minute. I want to say thank you as your planning and itinerary were perfect down to every detail. Your contact via WhatsApp during the trip was reassuring and prompt with information for the next day. You looked after us so well during the trip and we definitely want to visit Vietnam again in future. Thanks again for an amazing trip!

Somewhere to go once.

Why do you really want to have Switzerland in Southeast Asia? The landscape is so beautiful, and there's a lake in the neighborhood a day, so it's really nice to walk. I really want to pick one of the attractions I should go to once.

Good People to Travel With.

The communication for this trip was exceptional. The travel company (Swallow) was able to organise a taxi into Hanoi from the airport at a reasonable rate. The trip was great. The guide was very pleasant and had a good command of English.Hotel was good and most importantly, very central in Sapa.

Not a 2 day trekking tour!

The sights are amazing. It is not a 2 day tour, though. First day was great. A full day trekking. The second day is a gentle stroll for around 1 hour. Feel a bit short changed because of that.

Response from the operator: Dear Peter, Thank you so much for your feedback. We really appreciated it. It helps us to improve our service for next clients. The trekking tour is about 6km on the second day as we mentioned into the itinerary. That is why it is shorter than the trekking of the first day. Then you will have free time in the afternoon before getting transferred to Lao Cai railway station. If you let us know that you prefer trekking longer, we will organize another trekking route for your booking. On behalf of Swallow Travel team, thank you once again for touring with us. We welcome your feedback. We hope you are highly satisfied with our service and that you recommend touring with Swallow Travel to your friends and family. We are looking forward to serving you again for other trips in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar( Indochina countries). Best regards, Swallow Travel team,

3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi cost?

+

Prices start at $143 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days Sapa Tour with Night Train from Hanoi start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
