From Jerusalem to Jordan — Three Days of Extraordinary Adventure
Some trips take you to a destination. Others take you on an adventure. Our three-day journey from Jerusalem into Jordan and back was definitely an adventure we will never forget. Leaving *Jerusalem, crossing into Jordan, and knowing that we were heading toward Petra and Wadi Rum created a real sense of excitement from the very beginning. What could have been a complicated journey was made enjoyable by the smooth organization and the opportunity to experience Jordan at a much more relaxed pace. Petra — Beyond Our Expectations Our time in Petra was absolutely incredible. We had seen photographs of the Treasury countless times, but nothing compares to walking through the Siq and seeing it appear in front of you for the first time. The moment was genuinely breathtaking. Petra is so much more than the famous Treasury. Exploring the ancient city, seeing the enormous rock-cut structures, walking through its historic streets, and realizing the scale of what the Nabataeans created was fascinating. Having more time on this three-day journey made a real difference. We could appreciate Petra without feeling like we were simply racing through one of the world's most extraordinary archaeological sites. Wadi Rum — A Completely Different World After Petra, we continued toward Wadi Rum, and the scenery changed dramatically. The moment you enter the desert, everything feels different. Huge sandstone mountains rise from the desert, the landscape stretches endlessly into the distance, and the silence creates an atmosphere that is almost impossible to describe. Exploring Wadi Rum was one of the absolute highlights of our journey. The desert scenery was spectacular from every direction, and every stop seemed to offer another incredible photograph. The contrast between Petra's ancient stone city and Wadi Rum's enormous natural landscapes made the combination especially memorable. Three Days Made the Difference What we loved about making this a three-day journey was that we didn't feel as though we were trying to squeeze everything into an impossibly short schedule. We had time to enjoy the roads and landscapes, appreciate Petra properly, experience the atmosphere of Wadi Rum, and actually take in the journey rather than constantly watching the clock. Starting and ending in Jerusalem also made the experience feel unique. We crossed a border, entered another country, explored two world-famous destinations, and then returned to Jerusalem with an incredible collection of memories. More Than Just a Tour This experience felt like much more than simply visiting two famous attractions. It was a journey through ancient history, spectacular landscapes, different cultures, and completely different environments. One moment we were surrounded by thousands of years of history in Petra. The next, we were standing in the vast silence of the Wadi Rum desert. That contrast is what made the trip so special. The organization throughout the journey was excellent, particularly considering the international travel and border crossing involved. Having the logistics taken care of allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the details. A Journey We Would Do Again If you are staying in Jerusalem and considering traveling to Jordan, we would absolutely recommend giving yourself three days if possible. Petra deserves time. Wadi Rum deserves time. And the journey between them deserves to be enjoyed rather than rushed. Three days gave us the perfect opportunity to experience these incredible places while still feeling that we were on an adventure rather than simply checking destinations off a list. Leaving Jerusalem, discovering Petra, experiencing the magic of Wadi Rum, and returning to Jerusalem with unforgettable memories made this one of the most unique journeys of our trip. Petra amazed us. Wadi Rum surprised us. The entire journey exceeded our expectations. An extraordinary experience from beginning to end. If you're thinking about doing this trip from Jerusalem, make it three days—you'll be glad you did. Three days. Two incredible Jordanian destinations. One unforgettable adventure.

thank you for everything
we was working with UN in Jerusalem and our flight was cancelled, and they change it to Jordan airport after 3 days, so as we didn't had anything to do we decided to book this tour because it was our first time in middle east and everyone told us that we must visit Petra so here we are with Creative and i think that was the best choice after we see what they can provide and do for travelers and tourist. whenever we ask for anything it was provided for us, and they do some extra things for us and didn't asked for any extra charge so from my side and even my coworkers we had the best time thank you Creative for the lovely and great tour

Fantastic experience and excellent operator
If you are driving from Jerusalem, where you should be in time and maybe meet the locals, then the tiny extra expense of hiring a private driver is absolutely worthwhile if you want to enjoy Petra and Wadi Rum in all their authentic beauty. Instead of arriving in the middle of the day and snatching visitors from tour buses, think about wandering Petra's main street with a knowledgeable private guide and hardly anyone else around. I recommended strongly

3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jerusalem.
How much does 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $275 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jerusalem usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jerusalem is not rushed.
Is 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Jerusalem, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jerusalem can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jerusalem and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days Petra and Wadi Rum Private Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jerusalem within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jerusalem?
+
On Outty we rank every Jerusalem experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jerusalem Boutique Tour from Tel Aviv, Travel to Bethlehem Half Day Guided Tour from Jerusalem, Jerusalem: Dual Narrative Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jerusalem?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jerusalem?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
