The Masai Mara was recently named the Seventh Wonder of the modern World for staging the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth. It’s one of the world’s last remaining ecosystems harmonizing animal and nature. Masai Mara is where you’ll have one of those breath-taking, heart-stopping moments, of a million teeming Wildebeests making their annual migration across the Mara, and your first face to face encounter with the Big Five of Kenya. Game drives are delightful and the informative Guides ensure that you sight most, if not all of Kenya’s Big Five and other plains Game. There is also the Maasai Cultural Village where you can experience firsthand, one of the few remaining ancient great cultures of the world.

    Very good experience.

There are a lot of animals here, and the driver found a very good angle to shoot and met expectations. Jing Mei.

    Don’t waste your money..

I booked this safari to document wildlife conservation and chose this company based on strong reviews of a guide named David. I was assured my specific needs would be met—but they weren’t. The safari was disorganized, with poorly explained group-joining logistics, unskilled drivers (not trackers as promised), limited communication between vehicles, and late park entry that missed prime wildlife viewing times. We left parks early, followed few active sightings, and I had five different drivers over the trip. A vehicle breakdown left us stranded for hours with minimal communication from management. Most disappointing, the company made no real effort to help locate Craig, the famous Super Tusker—my main request made months in advance. Craig passed away shortly after my return, making this missed opportunity heartbreaking. Promises were made but not kept. Client goals and quality safari experiences are clearly not a priority.

    Exceed expectations

There was some fear of Africa at first, of fraudulent deposits, of local hygiene and eating conditions, of infectious diseases such as malaria, and afterwards everything proved redundant. The local hotel's own bottled water is best not to drink, we drank it and threw up all night, wasting the day travelling. This has nothing to do with travel agencies. The little red book says this travel agency is not very good, but we feel okay, no unpleasantness happened. In the middle of the remittance, the Bank of China got it wrong, and they patiently communicated and ran away from the local bank for nothing. The driver, David, is an old driver, looks for spaces when looking at animals and is patient. Susan was patient.

    Fantastic Family Trip

My family, wife and 3 children ages 14,11 and 9 could not be happier with Tropical Wild. First class treatment from airport pick up to the drop off. David was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable about everything. Suzy was a sweetheart from the first email and even gifted us with Maasai blankets and Tropical Wild safari hats on pick up. We let them choose our accommodations and they were super, food quality and comfort. Thank you David, Suzy and the Tropical Wild team!!! We will be back again and definitely telling our friends about you!!!!

    Super cost-effective travel

The price of the tour we signed up for was very low and there weren't a lot of reviews on the website, so we hadn't set our expectations too high and thought we would just see the animals. But the trip struck me as super cost effective and far exceeded expectations. First of all, the driver, david, is a superb driver, doesn't talk much, but every time he is especially punctual, which makes me feel like a reliable Chinese parent. And! One night because of the hotel did not provide us with a single room according to the advance booking, susan took the initiative to upgrade our accommodation, that hotel is made of recycled waste, the owner took the initiative to take us to visit, gave us a lot of he wanted to improve the local environment through waste recycling, bring water to the nearby villages, to provide employment opportunities for women, he said that his hotel is not open to the public, only for the He said that his hotel is not open to the public, only to acquaintances, he said that because our driver david is the teacher who taught him safari many years ago, so the relationship is very good, he told us that david is a very experienced driver. We were really lucky to find this travel agency at such a low price, so I must write this review to share my experience! As soon as we met Susan, she sent us each a gift, of which the Maasai blanket worked wonders for us throughout the trip. We tried to arrange other trips and susan was very patient with us on all of them. Finally the accommodation, much better than I expected, looking at the photos on google, I was expecting the accommodation and food to be very poor (because of the really cheap prices), but every hotel was much better than the pictures, very clean, I think the local people's photo taking skills should be upgraded. And finally Susan also said to send us postcards, I really very sad to leave, we carry a lot of luggage, Susan said she became small into one of the bags with us back to China.
