An Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience!
An amazing 3-day gorilla trekking experience with Dav Safaris! Everything was well organised, and the tour guide, Job was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient. He even made quick stops along the way so I could take photos of the crested crane and shoebill we came across, which was a lovely bonus for a wildlife lover! Seeing the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend Job to anyone planning this experience in Uganda!

Incredible Rwanda & Uganda Adventure with Charles!
An unforgettable Rwanda & Uganda adventure with Dav Safaris! Our guide Charles was always there for us, drove us everywhere and helped enormously with border crossings. We’ve visited 40+ countries, but the procedures here were unfamiliar and often unclear. Without him, it would have been a real struggle. From golden monkeys to mountain gorillas, we made incredible memories. Thank you, Charles, for your patience, humour and support. Highly recommended!

Unique experience, smooth logistics, and a great price
This was my first trip to East Africa, and Dav made it very easy, at a reasonable price. My guide Isaac was prompt and courteous at every step, did a great job driving safely some crazy roads, finding good places to stop for photos, and helping me find great local restaurants for authentic African food—places that you wouldn’t be able to pick out on Yelp or Google. He also seemed to know everyone in Rwanda and Uganda, which made it easy to deal with customs when we had to cross the border or find an ATM. Communication was prompt and clear while booming my tour, and they were able to tailor a package to my interests.

Amazing tour 10/10
This was an amazing experience would definitely recommend. Our guide was super friendly and always had historical information to share about wherever we were which was good to get to know the country more! (Shoutout to Solomon truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and had everything we needed). The gorillas was just incredible and amazing to see truly a once in a lifetime thing. Both accommodations for the nights was also lovely staff was amazing and rooms were great.

Great experience!
We did a 10 days Safari in Uganda with Julius guide and was the best experience. He cared about everything everyday and gave us a lot of tips. He was friendly and easy going, punctual and responsible. If we come again to Uganda we will hire him again for sure!

3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda cost?
+
Prices start at $2,600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 236 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda?
+
Around 83 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

Not included: International flight; Tips and gratuities; Any expenses of personal nature i.e. phone bills, antiquity purchases; and Personal insurance.
