An Awesome Safari Experience For A Reasonable Price

Overall, this was a wonderful experience for me and my wife. Our guide, Petrus, was outstanding as well. He was able to provide so much information on the animals as well as the local tribal communities that really made the safari so interesting. Kavana tours provided a very comfortable, air-conditioned, four-wheel drive vehicle, which was much nicer than the multi-tiered open vehicles many safari companies I have used in the past use. Because we booked the safari at the last minute, we didn't stay inside the park. However, the Okatula lodge, where we stayed for both nights of the safari, was incredible! This lodge has many of the animals you would see in the park right at the lodge. They have a nightly rhinoceros feeding at their own watering hole that puts you face to face with these amazing creatures. The lodge also has an underground "hide" next to the where you can see the rhinos up close in a way that you would never see in the park. The watering hole, which is viewable from the restaurant also attracts many other animals, which makes dinner an amazing experience. The food at dinner both nights we stayed was incredible. I had Oryx and Eland for my two entrees, which were so good. The Hawaiian chicken that my wife had was also very tasty. Finally, I have to say the rooms were so wonderful. We stayed in the Fox room, which was located on the top of a hill adjacent to the lodge. The view from our porch was incredible, especially our first sunset and waking up to see animals in the valley below our room. I would highly recommend both Kavana Tours and Okatala Lodge if you want to have a wonderful experience at Etosha National Park.

How much does 3 Days Etosha National Park Safaris cost?

    +

Prices start at $1210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Windhoek usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

Is 3 Days Etosha National Park Safaris worth it?

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Windhoek, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Etosha National Park Safaris?

How far in advance should I book 3 Days Etosha National Park Safaris?

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Windhoek can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Windhoek and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days Etosha National Park Safaris start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Windhoek?

    +

On Outty we rank every Windhoek experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Windhoek City Tour, Windhoek Historical City Tour Plus Township Tour !, Half-Day Windhoek City and Township Cultural Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Windhoek?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Windhoek?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
