Solo But Never Lonely
Booking alone felt risky, but the small boat made it easy to meet people without any pressure. The deck was intimate, the crew made sure nobody ate alone, and the stops at Philae, Kom Ombo, and Edfu were well paced. Evenings with a book and the Nile sliding past became the best part of the day. No upselling, no pressure, excellent value.

Worth It Just for Philae
Philae alone justified the whole cruise, but everything else made it exceptional. The boat was comfortable rather than fancy, the cabin was spotless with hot water every time, and the food was hot and generous at every meal. Kom Ombo at sunset was quietly atmospheric, and Edfu in the cool morning light was the most impressive of the three stops. Our guide handled all the tickets in advance and explained the carvings without ever lecturing. No pressure, no upselling, no wasted time. A well-paced three days.

Luxury and History on Movenpick
We were a couple and we chose the Movenpick ship because we wanted a bit of luxury. The trip from Aswan to Luxor was smooth. Our driver Hassan was waiting for us and he was very kind. The ship was beautiful with a nice pool and a spa. The room was spacious and the bed was huge. The guide Ahmed was good but sometimes he spoke too fast. The Abu Simbel temple was the highlight for me. It is a long drive but worth every minute. The Kom Ombo Temple was interesting with the crocodile mummies. The Edfu Temple was also nice. The food on the ship was excellent. Lots of variety and the desserts were amazing. The staff were attentive and the service was top notch. The crowd was a bit older but that was fine for us. Best for couples who want a relaxed and luxurious experience. The only thing I would change is the early wake up calls but you get used to it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Nile in style.

Amwaj Ship for History Lovers
We were a group of friends and we took the Amwaj ship. We are all history buffs so this trip was perfect. The guide Ahmed was a treasure. He knew everything about the temples and the pharaohs. The Abu Simbel was breathtaking. The Kom Ombo Temple was unique because of the dual design. The Edfu Temple was well preserved. The food on the ship was tasty and there was plenty of it. The staff were great and the service was fast. The rooms were small but we only slept there. The atmosphere was fun and we made friends with other travelers. The crowd was not too big. Best for friends who love history and want a fun time. The only thing we missed was a bit more time at each site but we understand the schedule. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see the real Egypt. Thanks to the crew for a great time.

Peaceful Solo Trip on Le Fayan
I went solo on the Le Fayan ship. I wanted to see the Nile and I was not disappointed. The driver Hussein picked me up and he was very nice. The ship was cozy and the staff were like family. The guide Ahmed was knowledgeable and patient. The Abu Simbel was a dream come true. The Kom Ombo Temple was nice. The Edfu Temple was impressive.The food was good and I loved the Egyptian breakfast. The room was small but clean. The atmosphere was peaceful. The crowd was small so I could really enjoy the sites. Best for solo travelers who want peace and history. The only thing I would say is that the admission fees are not included but that is normal for Egypt. I would do it again. The sunsets on the Nile are something else. I took so many photos. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to disconnect and learn something new.
