Amazing people and unforgettable experience
Such an amazing experience that won't be soon forgotten. We used this company and its rafting team first for a multiday trip whitewater rafting down the Zambezi and couldn't give higher praise for the team. Philani aka MD was our guardian throughout the trip and was not only a professional but an incredible joy to be with. JB was our safety guy who was always on the lockout for us and also an amazing cook for our dinners. Warren and Troy joined us on the 2nd and 3rd days and were absolutely awesome help. A trip down the Zambezi is a once in a lifetime experience and I'm glad we did it with these guys. We also used the company to help us book several other activities (Devil's Pool, day trip to Chobe, etc). Marvel was our front office contact during the trip and provided amazing service in giving us recommendations, letting us change dates at the last minute, and arranging COVID testing and visas. Could not recommend this group of people more!
Response from the operator: Hi Khan Thank you so much for this wonderful review. we are so happy to receive a recommendation speaking so highly about us. We take pleasure in that you and your friends enjoyed the trip and we hope one day you will return for a five excursion on the Zambezi. All the best in life ! regards

Unbelievable experience and service
Unbelievable experience! MD, JB, Troy, Warren, and the rest of the team did an unbelievable job taking us out on the Zambezi for a 3 day 2 night adventure. We also used Shockwave to plan our Devils pool trip, Bungee jumping on the Victoria falls bridge, and a safari at Chobe national park in Botswana. They were unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond time and time again. They helped us figure out what visas we needed, helped us get our Covid tests for our return trip, and we’re available to answer any questions we had during our stay in Zim. I cannot express how amazing this experience was and would recommend Shockwave to anyone planning an activity packed trip to Zim!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review. we are so glad you enjoyed and we will always thrives to offer the best service we can. We hope to meet you again in future for a longer rafting trip on the Zambezi. All the best in life! regards

Multi Day Rafting - AMAZING!
I did this 3 day trip recently with my girlfriend for my 40th birthday. We're both pretty outgoing and up for a bit of an adventure so it sounded ideal and watching some of the Youtube videos it really appealed to the adrenaline junkies inside of us. This was the first part of a bigger trip in central/southern Africa so it took a bit of organizing. Jennifer and Benko were super easy to deal with in the beginning and make the booking process much easier than I was expecting, always a good start when this happens! I asked loads of questions and they always came back to me within 24h which was great. When we arrived in Victoria falls Shockwave got us to their office/shop for the briefing and we met OG who is the most laid back guy on the planet. We could just tell straight away he had done this about 500 times before and he just had this covered. Day 1 is the biggest rafting day with most of the named rapids, massive fun and you really feel part of a team getting the raft down the river. OG at the back controlling everything making sure we were all ok and just bossing the river. Amazing fun and a great start to the holiday. Days 2 and 3 (half day) were more gentle but the Zambezi gorge is huge and there are loads of things to see. It was quite a chilled out day 2 and 3 with large stretches of calm water but still pretty good fun and definitely worth doing the longer trip. We camped for 2 nights at the side of the river bank on these small beaches which was very cool. Baboons on the Zambia side of the river taking a good look at us and the occasional small Croc to keep us company! The food was good and we had a few beers by the campfire each night along with a some games and challenges to fill the evening in. It was awesome to sleep outside next to the fire under the stars, before getting up the next day and doing it all again. The last day was a half day and then a big walk out of the gorge, more beers at the end and then a truck ride back to Victoria Falls. We went at the start of the rainy season in November and that is something to see on it's own. For me, the 2.5 day trip was the perfect length, 1 day would definitely not have been enough but most of the big named rapids are on day 1 so any more than this and you're kind of repeating day 2 again and again on the quieter water. Massive thanks to our team. OG, Liberty and Admire who were with us for the 3 days, you guys really made it a special trip which was action packed, fun and nothing like we'd ever done before. I would definitely recommend Philani and his team at Shockwave if you're thinking of going on this adventure.
Response from the operator: Hie Ronsdale Thank you for sparing us your time to review us on this platform, surely it was lovely taking you and your partner down the Zambezi river for our multi day trip. Shockwave's brand is to provide its customers with the best trips on the Zambezi river and the most experienced guides, hence we are deeply happy to learn that our guide OG did a great job in making sure you had a memorable and fun-filled trip. Shockwave Adventures will continue to provide the finest and exceptional services as well as ensure that you enjoy all your trips and have memorable moments on your visit to Victoria Falls. Once more, thank you for reviewing us as well as recommending us to the world. We look forward to taking you down the river again, perhaps for a more adventurous 5 days trip.

3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.
How much does 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls cost?
+
Prices start at $1249 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.
Is 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days & 2 Nights Whitewater Rafting Victoria Falls start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?
+
On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Victoria Falls Theatre Featuring Simunye: The Spirit of Africa, Victoria Falls Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi River, Guided Tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
