Family guided tour of Agra and Delhi
Our tour began with a seamless arrival from Goa, where we were warmly welcomed by our driver, Gurmeet. He was waiting for us upon arrival and promptly got us on the road to Agra. The journey was comfortable and well-paced, with thoughtfully timed stops for meals and restrooms along the way. Upon reaching Agra, Gurmeet assisted us with our hotel check-in and coordinated our evening tour with our guide, Mahesh. That evening, we visited Agra Fort, and it quickly became clear that we were in excellent hands. Mahesh possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the fort’s history, architecture, and cultural significance. He guided us through all of the major highlights, bringing each site to life with fascinating stories and insights. He even demonstrated remarkable acoustic features and optical illusions hidden within the fort’s design. Later, we enjoyed a sunset visit to an elevated viewpoint overlooking the Taj Mahal. As we watched the changing colors of the evening sky, Mahesh explained the history of the surrounding gardens, monuments, and structures, adding valuable context to the experience. The following morning, we returned to the Taj Mahal for sunrise. Mahesh expertly guided us through the complex, highlighting architectural details, symbolism, and historical elements that we would have otherwise overlooked. His knowledge transformed a beautiful visit into a truly memorable and educational experience. Afterward, we visited local artisans specializing in marble inlay work and embroidery. Watching these skilled craftspeople demonstrate techniques that have been passed down through generations was both unique and fascinating, providing an authentic glimpse into the region’s artistic heritage. Our journey then continued to Delhi, where we enjoyed the spectacular water show at Akshardham Temple before spending the next day exploring the city’s major landmarks and attractions. My wife and I have traveled extensively and participated in many guided tours around the world, and this was unquestionably one of the finest experiences we have had. Gurmeet’s professionalism, punctuality, and exceptional driving skills made navigating the often-chaotic roads of Delhi and Agra feel effortless and stress-free. He ensured that every aspect of our transportation was smooth and efficient. Mahesh is an outstanding guide whose depth of knowledge, engaging storytelling, and attention to detail elevated every site we visited. He also knew the best locations for photographs and helped us avoid crowds and heat whenever possible. If you are considering a tour of Delhi and Agra, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Gurmeet and Mahesh make an exceptional team, and they turned our visit into an unforgettable journey through some of India’s most remarkable destinations

3 day tour Delhi and Taj Mahal.
We had a wonderful time with this tour. Gurmeet was prompt in picking us up from the airport and was knowledgable in all the areas we traveled to. Cold water was always available. Mahesh was very informative on the history, religions, and structures for all the monuments and temples we visited. Taj Mahal of course was wondrous, but we especially enjoyed Akshardham temple with the water show. The water show was spectacular. We would recommend this tour whole-heartedly!

From the very beginning, Shakul (the office manager) went above and beyond. He reached out via WhatsApp right after booking and stayed in touch throughout, always responding quickly and professionally. He arranged our flights, hotel, and all logistics seamlessly, which made the entire experience completely stress-free for us. We were picked up from our hotel in Mumbai and taken to the airport for our flight to Delhi. When we arrived, our guide Mahesh and driver Vicky were there waiting for us with the warmest welcome. One member of our group was celebrating a big milestone birthday, and we were absolutely delighted to find the van decorated with balloons and a festive setup (they had thoughtfully noticed the birthday from our passport details). It was such a special and unexpected gesture that meant so much to all of us. Mahesh took exceptional care of us throughout the trip. At the hotel, he handled everything effortlessly, from check-in to arranging breakfast boxes for our early morning start, and even surprised us again with a birthday cake in the evening. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel completely taken care of. Note: the hotel was not really a 5-star despite its advertising, but our stay there was very brief so it didn’t matter much. The itinerary was perfectly curated, with each site feeling unique and meaningful. Mahesh’s knowledge was outstanding. He shared fascinating history and insights at every stop, which made the experience even richer. Mahesh also took us to wonderful, trusted restaurants for lunch on day 1 and day 2, and the food was excellent. Vicky, our driver, was fantastic, safe, reliable, and always punctual. The van was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making all our travel relaxing and enjoyable. On our final day, they took us to the airport, and it was honestly hard to say goodbye. We left with hugs and so much appreciation for everything they had done for us. We had been traveling for a month and experienced at least a dozen organized tours, but this one stood out by far as the absolute best. We are so thankful for the care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality we received. We will always remember Mahesh and this experience and we highly recommend it to anyone.

3 Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Dehli Tour from Goa
If I could give this tour more stars I would. We booked this tour in the January, within a day we had received communication from Skakul who confirmed our reservation. Before and during the trip we received excellant communication, providing details of flights, hotel and iteninary, driver and tour guide details and answering any questions we had. On arriving in Dehli aiport we were met by DK our driver who presented us with garlands which was a very nice touch. The car was very spacious and clean and had in-car wifi. Our first stop was Qutb Minar where we met our first guide Himmat, who was very knowlegable on the history and took lots of pictures of us which was nice. Then we went to the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, this temple was breathtaking but please note you are unable to take cameras in due to security but in a way that was nice as you just concentrated on looking and listening to the guide. Then we went for a late lunch in a lovely indiran resturant. This was not included in the price but was very reasonable. We chose the five star option for the hotel which was the Crowne Plaza, the rooms were good, it had a small pool we could relax around, nice bar and resturant and provided a take out breakfast for our early 5.30am start to Agra the next day. DK picked us up dead on 5.30 and we arrived in Agra at around 10.00am and we met our guide Mahesh. The Taj Mahal at this time was a little quieter, Mahesh was very knowledgable, took lots of pictures for us, explained all the optical illussions at the Taj and allowed some time on our own to wander round. This was the hi-light of our trip. We then went to the Fort which was also fascinating. We went to lunch at a nice resturant which again was not included but was very reasonable. After lunch we visited some craft work shops which was interesting and then went to watch the sunset over the Taj on the other side of the river. Agra is such an interesting city and there is so much to see, just looking out of the car window. It is a very long day, we got back to our hotel in Dehli at around 10pm but it was so worth it. I just want to say a big thankyou to DK our driver, he is an excellant driver and had an even longer day than us and we just had to sit in the back. The last day we had a lovely breakfast in the hotel and then we were met by DK at 9.00 am who took us to the Lotus temple where we met Himmet who explain the religion and why it was built which I found fascinating. We then went to Humayuns Tomb which was also lovely and very peaceful. After this we went to a lovely resturant for lunch and then DK took us to the Airport. This was an amazing trip, the best one I have ever done. The communication, organisation, hotel, driver, tour guides, places visited were excellant. If you are think of doing this trip, I cannot recommend this trip enough.
Response from the operator: Dear Lita & Darren Skinner, Thank you so much for your incredibly detailed and generous review of your 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai. We are truly delighted to hear that your experience was so memorable and, as you mentioned, one of the best trips you have ever done — that means a great deal to us. It is especially rewarding to know that the communication and organisation from the very beginning met your expectations and helped make the journey smooth and stress-free. Your kind words about D.K. are deeply appreciated — his professionalism, punctuality, and dedication, especially during long travel days, are qualities we value highly. We are also pleased that you enjoyed the warm welcome at the airport and the comfort of the vehicle. We are equally grateful for your recognition of our guides, particularly Himmat and Mahesh, whose knowledge, storytelling, and assistance with photography help bring each site to life. We’re delighted that your visit to the Taj Mahal was a highlight, along with the thoughtful inclusion of experiences such as Akshardham Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, and the sunset view across the Yamuna. It’s wonderful to hear that the hotel and overall arrangements contributed positively to your comfort, especially with early departures and long sightseeing days. We also appreciate your helpful notes regarding meals and security arrangements at certain monuments — insights like these are valuable for future travelers. Thank you once again for your strong recommendation and for trusting Pacific Classic Tours India (PCTI) with your journey. It was a true pleasure hosting you both, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back to India for another unforgettable experience in the future. Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.
How much does 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai cost?
+
Prices start at $560 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Private Taj Mahal, Agra and Delhi Tour from Goa or Mumbai start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mumbai?
+
On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mumbai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mumbai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
