Going to Iceland - Go with Secret Spots of Iceland and You will be Delighted

The whole process with Secret Spots of Iceland from the beginning to the end could not have been done better. Luke and Fifi were very responsive with their replies to my questions about planning our trip. Luke provided great advice on what camera equipment I should bring. On the two days of the tour Luke arrived early and was well prepared for the day. We had a great time with our conversations with Luke and genuinely enjoyed being with him. During the day we never felt rushed which was well appreciated as I like to examine details of places we visit for unique photos. Luke is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Iceland. A big benefit with going with Secret Spots of Iceland is the special parking spots provided for tour operators so getting a parking spot was not a problem as it was for the general population. We enjoyed every place we visited and were able to capture some very memorable photos. When we go back we want to do it with Secret Spots of Iceland. I mentioned at the start I have some walking difficulties with un even surfaces and Luke watched over me to make sure I was stable and safe. That was very much appreciated. We recommend Secret Spots of Iceland even if you are just a cell phone photographer. You are in for a great time. Where did we go? That is not for me to say, that is a secret and if you want to find out check out Secret Spots of Iceland.

An Unforgettable Iceland Adventure with Luke @Secretspotsiceland

We had an amazing experience with Luke! From the moment we met him, we felt like we were exploring Iceland with a good friend rather than a tour guide. His passion for Iceland is contagious, and he knows all the best spots, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems. Every day was relaxed, well organized, and tailored to what we wanted to see. Luke never rushed us, shared fascinating local stories, and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy every stop and take photos. If you want to experience the real beauty of Iceland without the stress of planning, I highly recommend Luke. He made our trip unforgettable, and we would book with him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Luke, for giving us memories we’ll treasure forever!

    An unforgettable experience

Luke is a true gentleman and totally trustworthy; we paid him directly by bank transfer a year in advance. He was pleasant and careful, we felt very safe with him driving in the highland. He has a gentle and kind demeanour; we enjoyed having some nice conversations with him. I would definitely recommend him and hope to be back again for another adventure with him.

Amazing time with Secret Spot Iceland

Had an epic experience with Secret Spots Iceland. Luke, the owner and a fantastic photographer, was the complete consummate and professional guide along with Olga, his other guide who was so accommodating and provided a myriad of information and history. He was quick to respond to any questions or inquiries, asking me what we wanted to see and do and from there he created the perfect 3 day itinerary. We saw some of the more popular sights but the best ones I thought were off the beaten path. Truly enjoyed Iceland which was only enhanced more by Luke and Olga. Would most definitely recommend Secret Spots Iceland especially if you have a short time but want to see more than the usual sights. Thank you Luke for such a memorable trip.

Secret Spots & Epic Shots in Iceland

I was so lucky to experience this trip with Luke!!! He has a wealth of knowledge about nature, as well as the culture and history of Iceland. We explored incredible hidden spots that were absolutely amazing to photograph. While we were taking pictures, he guided us to the perfect location and helped position us to get the best possible shots. I will definitely be returning to Iceland and rebooking with Luke.

3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon cost?

    +

Prices start at $5920 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3-Day Private Iceland Tour – South Coast & Glacier Lagoon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
