Priceless.
I am a Chinese American and booked a 20-day private tour (just my family of 4) directly with Travel China Guide. This review is for the three days in Beijing with our fantastic guide Selina! Selina was always prompt, responsible and professional. Our transfer from the airport was perfect at 10pm! She coordinated our activities perfectly. Her knowledge and expertise on the various sites was deep and meaningful. Selina was also great with my 10 and 13 year old children. She would help us order our food in restaurants and talked to shop employees for purchases. Selina even came onto the high speed train with us to make sure we got on the correct car, seats and luggage placement. I would definitely recommend Selina and Travel China Guide to my friends traveling to Beijing. Also, Wendy coordinated my entire 20 -day trip and answered my many emails over a 10-month period promptly and professionally. Wendy is amazing too!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! We're so happy that Selina made your three days in Beijing so fantastic—especially with your children. Her care in helping with food, purchases, and even boarding the train with you says everything about her dedication. And Wendy will be thrilled to know that her 10 months of planning and prompt responses made your 20-day trip seamless. Thank you for your trust and your high recommendation!

Fabulous Beijing Highlights
Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Tianamen Square, Great Wall, and hutongs were amazing. Guide also took us to Lama Temple, which was also fabulous. Everything very crowded since school holiday. Our guide Barry was very nice, knowledgeable, and spoke good English

Our team are all travel experts striving for perfect tours. We expect more journeys with you! Best regards from TravelChinaGuide Tours.

Great time in Beijing
Out of all the cities in China, I felt that having a tour guide is definitely a must in Beijing. Almost all the famous tourist attractions were full of people. It was not easy to know where to go, etc. Fortunately we had Candy so all we needed was to follow her. The city definitely has many great places that you need to visit. However beware of traffic
Response from the operator: Dear BenLA1, thank you for taking time to share your Beijing trip! It’s very encouraging to have your satisfaction, which is also a great impetus for our improvement. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity of serving you again! Best regards from TravelChinaGuide Tours.

3 wonderful days in Beijing
We booked a 12-day private tour via this company but this review is only for the Beijing section. Candy was our tour guide during these three days. She speaks English very well and is very kind and patient. We were picked up at the airport without any issues and dropped off to the train station to go to Xian. The three days were all very well planned. The restaurants organized or recommended by her were also great. We also had plenty of time to enjoy each site and the visits to the great wall and forbidden city did not feel rushed at all. I highly recommend booking a group or private tour with this company. They made our trip pleasant and we did not have to worry about anything; especially because not many people speak English in Beijing.
Response from the operator: Dear FMRAD, thank you so much for rating us again by this detailed post! We are so delighted to see your trip was memorable. Our travel experts know very well of the best routes for perfect experience. Thank you for trusting us. We look forward to traveling with you soon. Best regards.

Beijing tour with Travel China guide
We booked a 17 trip with Travel China guide. Our driver Mr Le and our brilliant guide Vivian picked us up from the airport early morning. After settling us in to our hotel we made arrangements for the following day. Vivian was very punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about the attractions visited making the overall experience truly memorable. Her English is superb. The Great Wall of China was one of our highlights, we were not rushed and nothing was too much trouble for Vivian she was fantastic. We were scheduled to visit the Summer Palace on the morning before we caught the train to Datong. Unfortunately due to extreme weather conditions many attractions including this one were being closed. Vivian and our driver managed to fit this visit in the day before even though this meant a very late finish for them both. We can't express how much this meant to us as it turned out to be one of our favourite places. We feel the need to mention that Mr Le and his driving skills and calm demeanor made our journey feel safe at all times. This part of our trip has more than exceeded our expectations. We can't wait for the journey to continue.
Response from the operator: Dear Lynn B, thank you for your detailed post of the wonderful Beijing trip! How cheerful to know you were happy with the trip and our service! Our travel experts with years of experience master all travel types to meet your needs. Thank you again for choosing us. We look forward to serving you again! Best regards.

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Beijing.
How much does 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $389 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Beijing usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Beijing is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Beijing, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beijing can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beijing and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Private Beijing Tour with Airport Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beijing within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Beijing?
+
On Outty we rank every Beijing experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mubus: Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with Summer Palace Options, Beijing: Top 6 Highlights All Inclusive 2-Day Private Tour, Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip With English-Speaking Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Beijing?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Beijing?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
