    This tour Rocked

What an amazing Isle of Skye adventure guided by Torquil a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. I feel like we saw so much, all the highlights including faerie pools, kilt rock, Culloden and many more, Torquil worked hard to get us there before other large tours arrived. He was thoughtful with breaks and dining recommendations and the accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. He was chatty with facts and tales but also provided quiet time with a well curated soundtrack. He was an excellent driver. He ended the tour rocking out to ‘You take the High Road’ \m/

    Amazing highland experience

The tour itinerary was very comprehensive and covered a wide range of attractions within 3 days including natural and historical sites, while not much time could be spent at each site the time allocated was well balanced. Our local tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had many funny stories to tell as well as great Scottish music to share, making the experience very enjoyable and comfortable! The small group size also allowed our tour to be more efficient with time and feel more personal. Would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to cover the Highlands + Isle of Skye within a few days!

    We loved this tour.

We truly enjoyed this tour. It allowed us to see a beautiful part of Scotland and learn so much about the country and history. Our guide was Martin and it was wildly impressive how much he knew and the stories he shared. His driving was unmatched! I would absolutely book with this company again, especially with Martin as the guide.

3 day Isle of Skye tour

Martin was our tour guide and was full of amazing stories, tales and history as well as a lot of laughs. He did a fabulous job getting to all our stops and giving us enough time at each as well as giving us as a bus the ability to make a few choices. Great tour and great tour guide.

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 215 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Inverness, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 75 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Inverness and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Inverness?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Inverness?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
