Ha Long Bay Lux Cruise Tour

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Vietnam, especially the overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay. The scenery of both Ninh Binh's cultural and natural landscape and the Lan Ha Bay were breathtaking and out of this world! The 5 star service, the attention to detail and the friendly and cheeky personalities of the staff made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. The cuisine, the room with the balcony and the activities were all fantastic. It was difficult to leave the crusie only after 1 night and the new freinds we'd made with the staff and fellow passengers. Marvel Travel were great in keeping in contract before, during and after our tour to make sure everything was ok.

Unforgetable experience

Best stay

Luxury Not Defined - Know your Boat

Staff and Service amazing . Tour was good Ninh Binh accomadation 2- 3 star. Buses fantastic.!Weather extremely hot this time of year and cruise boat was not the expected luxury. Aqua of the Seas. Ensure you enquire what boat it is and confirm luxury standard that it is "premium fully airconditioned and all upper decks shaded" Air conditioning poor and absent in public areas of boat, not working properly in rooms. Winding staircases an issue for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Shower and vanity drainage not working so standing in an inch of water after 1 minute. Room frdge not working. No Wifi except in dining room . We had the aircon on 16 degrees celcius and it felt like 25. Bed was awesome and the staff decorated our room for our anniversary. TV does not work as no Wifi. Make sure you know what boat your booked on as we found out there are different standards of luxury. Ours was below standard for luxury. The pool was maximum 5 x 3 m, very small . Depth of a bathtub and no covered areas on both outer upper decks. Outdoor showers not working and bar not open at pool until scheduled 5pm cocktail hour. Boat is Vietnamese owned and owners need to put boat in port and upgrade all airconditioing and add roof cover on upper decks with large fans, so you can relax and be cool in all areas of boat. They had old portable airconditioners in only one space upstairs.. We were confined to our room to stay cool and I had to ask for a fan. Staff are very accomadating and did a celebration song for our anniversary which was really great. We put our review in about the boat facilities, and staff wanted to solve the issue imminently by offering discount on drinks and taxi to airport which was of course appreciated however this does not solve the issues for future guests. We could not have done anymore than one night.
