Brilliant experience
We enjoyed every minute of this trip into ancient Greece. The tour was very well organised. Our guide/driver Theo was knowledgeable and most likeable.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much!

Highlight of our Spring break family trip.
My 13 y.o. son had wanted to to go to Greece for a while. He had specific experiences he wanted. We found Eudaimonia from a recommendation from a parents forum which recommended we book with the older Nicos and we are so glad we did. We were travelling over spring break with our son and my wife's mother. Nicos picked us up on arrival and delivered us to our hotel that we had arranged for for the first night. The next day we were in his hands. Nicos had taken my son's list of wants and fit that to group of sites and experiences that maximized our limited time without feeling rushed or stressed. I’ll point out that we are not all that young, mid-fifties, and not in the greatest shape either. Sites on this trip were not too challenging for any of us. We did sleep very good at night though. Nicos speaks perfect English and was extremely pleasant to talk with. The 8-passenger van was spacious, new and comfortable. Nicos had a customized, bound itinerary for us to read as we left Athens. He also customized the route based on the weather expected so we avoided rain for the most part. Contrasting to the graffiti and crowds of Athens the locations we visited on the next three days was scenic, interesting and beautiful without a sign of traffic or crowds. Nicos provided transportation, breakfast, lunch and lodging. We saw so much and the pace kept us relaxed but allowed us to have an abundance of time at each location so we did not feel rushed. Each lunch was leisurely and each different from the last providing us a variety of excellent authentic meals rather than the type of cheap food they serve at the larger restaurants catering to the tour busses crowd. All of the restaurants were local and apparently off the tourist radar. Nicos ordered for us based on what he learned of us. Lodging on the first night was amazing. It was a small boutique hotel in the town of Dismitsana, high in the mountains with raging rapids in the valley below our balcony. The hotel was first rate, safe, modern, clean, and comfortable. Its location allowed us to walk to a variety of close by uncrowded restaurants and enjoy the quaint and beautiful town. Nicos seemed to know everyone and all the best restaurants and he made recommendations that were excellent. We slept well with no noise other than the river. A buffet breakfast was provided. On the second night we stayed in Galaxidi by the seaside. Again the hotel was small, safe, quiet, extremely comfortable, clean, with every convenience and conveniently located. This time the hotel was a very old building that was in excellent condition which added to the charm. It was a short walk to the restaurants on the water. This time breakfast was provided family style, which was more than we could eat, although we wanted to. The family running the hotel also owned the bakery in the town across the square from the hotel. The location of this stay allowed us to get an early start jump on the tour groups at the one site, Delphi, that was expected to be crowded. At all the sites we visited, it seemed like we had the site to ourselves. Delphi was no different. Just as we were leaving after having seen everything at a leisurely pace, the tour busses were just beginning to arrive. The three days and two nights provided by Nicos and Eudaimonia, were the highlight of our trip. Eudaimonia also arranged to deliver us to the airport days later which was very much appreciated rather than having to cram into a cab with all of our luggage. We look forward to going back to Greece soon. My wife had made all the arrangements. I was unaware of the variety of packages Eudaimonia offers.
Response from the operator: Ron we could use your review as a perfect and very authentic tour description although you give away to the competition our small/important details & our secret ways of exploring. Great way to describe your experience with us and of a very very nice review for our boutique agency. Also, a very informative review for future clients of ours. The trip was so successful because your communication was perfect which is a very important factor for us which helped plan and adjust everything for you. You were also very polite and respectful people which is very much appreciated. We can not thank you enough for this review and we looking forward to seeing you again. Be well. Nikos G.

+

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
