The summary of the experience would be: Perfect. We enjoyed every single moment of these days. The divers and our guide, Eric, made every day very unique. We discovered places that we would never have found without the expertise of our guide, as well as his help inside all the parks, his recommendations for food, and many other things that Eric made possible. The comfort of the transportation was excellent throughout the entire trip. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this tour. Eric made these days truly special, and they are memories we will never forget.

Amazing Scenery and Great Memories

Never expect we could see so many different things in our short 3 days. Stunning Zhangjiajie

Eric made my three days near Zhangjiajie the highlight of my trip to China. The natural beauty of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain is beyond words. He even brought a drone to capture incredible footage and photos for me. Having grown up in the area, Eric knows the local history, culture, and traditions inside and out. His English is at a native level, so communication was effortless throughout the trip. He arranged all transportation and tickets. We sampled a wide variety of local food, from authentic hot pot and handmade dumplings to tea grown on the surrounding mountains. Despite how popular Zhangjiajie has become, Eric planned each day efficiently and took me to several hidden spots where we had the trails almost entirely to ourselves. My first night was spent in Furong Ancient Town, where the beautiful waterfall flows through the centre of the village. Walking the winding market streets and having dinner beside the illuminated town was unforgettable. The next day we explored Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, walking along the Golden Whip Stream, riding the famous Bailong Elevator, and descending an old mountain trail with almost no other tourists. On my final day we visited Tianmen Cave, one of the world’s largest natural caves, and climbed the famous 999 steps to Tianmen Mountain. After the trip, Eric edited together his drone footage into a beautiful travel video. Doing this trip independently would have been incredibly challenging without knowing the language or the local area. I can’t thank Eric enough for his kindness, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing his home. I would recommend him to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.

Amazing tour with Eric!

We had an incredible experience exploring Zhangjiajie with Eric as our guide. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive to our needs. He planned each day efficiently so we could see the best of Zhangjiajie without feeling rushed, while also helping us avoid the biggest crowds whenever possible.
