Food is basic such as fresh fried fish with salad and rice.

    Amazing days in a paradise!

The experience in San Blas was unforgettable. The tours that we did on the first day, were unique, because we knew beaches of paradisiac landscape and the food service was very organized at the beginning of the trip by the guide Carol in addition to having a lot of choice and the food to be of good quality. The stay in Guasirdub was also amazing. Highlight for the cottage with direct access to the sea and the locals who were extremely attentive and welcoming (Hernel, Carlos and Morris). All meals were delicious and always had plenty of options. The only thing that could be even better would be to have a strip of sand around the island, as the island was surrounded by stones and algae (although the water is crystal clear). Other points of improvement: - Change some photos of the ad as not all are related to Guasirdub. - The transfer service from Panama City to the port of Carti was almost 1 hour late and the driver was not prudent, because he used his cell phone while driving, talking on the phone and taking photos, in addition to exceeding the speed in many points of the road. - On the return, in Porto de Carti, we also waited more than 1h for the vehicle and we did not have a response from the suppliers to direct us regarding the logistics of the return. At no time before, we knew who to look for or the vehicle that would wait for us there.

Bad organisation panama san blas tours

On the island we found out that the organisation 'panama san blas' tours charged us 200 dollars more than a competitor. We spoke to more than 10 other visitors who therefore paid $ 200 less for 3 nights. We returned this to the organisation to which we received a threatening response. We felt unsafe and wanted to return to the city 1 night earlier. This was only an option after much insistence. The way back was horrible. We are with 2 young children together with 8 adults (so 4 adults in total) put in a car where normally only 6 adults are allowed to sit. When I said something about this, I again received a threatening response. The organisation wanted to leave us halfway with our two small children. We have nothing good to say about the organisation. The island was beautiful, as well as the friendly islanders. The organisation terrible and ask too much money. The accommodation is uncomfortable, bad beds, houses that leak on all sides, and it rains and blows a lot, so not desirable.

Response from the operator: Hello, First of all, about the prices. If you go directly to the island and ask how much they cost yes it will be cheaper. In toursim there are many players in the value chain, there are the islands, the transport, the boats, the guides, the drivers, then the local agency (us) and then the international agencies (tripadvisor or viator) that they charge also a % so they can promote tour etc, so this is why our prices are higher. Now about the the transportation the kids minor to 5 years old travel for free, but they need to travel in the parents lap. And we always recommend to buy infant seat for 50usd both ways so you can travel confortable, and we have this option in ourwebsite, and in our not included section. About the threats, well we only work with local people in the islands and our staff can say it is the best you can read hundreds of reviews we have from them. But in case someone does not way to pay the price agree then they are serious and strict as ot should be. We recommend also to read more about san blas islands, we have a very nice blog in our website to know what to expect and it is not a place for everyone as you mentioned the beds are not very comfortable as in a hotel, house are traditional hand made of wood, shower water is cold. Etc Thanks again! If you have any other request please feel free to contact us directly.

    Narasgandup Guna Yala

Excellent experience with Panama San Blas Tours. Everything went as planned and both the transport and hosts were aware of our plans; there was a minor misunderstanding about the cost of transport but it was resolved quickly. We stayed in a cabin over the water in Naranjo Chico or Narasgandup island. The host family was really nice and willing to accommodate our needs. The accommodations are just a you see in the pictures. They are very modest and rustic, especially the bathroom and shower. You have to know what you are getting into. Do not expect 5-star accommodations. There isn’t running water, so we had to ask them to turn on the water whenever we needed and they were fine about it. However, I wish they had explained that from the beginning or just made sure there’s enough water collected for everyone in the cabins so we don’t have to ask every time. Food was great and plentiful. They gave us whole fried fish, rice, salad, seafood, plantains, potatoes, pineapple, and lobster one of the nights. I have no complaints about the food; they gave us generous portions. As far as activities go, the excursions were fun. I wish we would have visited more places. I think we had time to take a couple more excursions. We did snorkeling (there’s plenty of fish and water creatures to see), swimming and just hanging out at the beach. We were able to see dolphins from our cabin one morning as well as stingrays. There’s not much happening at night. I recommend bringing your own sources of entertainment such as board games, own device with downloaded movies or music and a portable charger. You can bring your own drinks, snacks, etc. There isn’t really a place to get that on the island. Quite unique, adventurous experience.

Response from the operator: Many thanks for your review! We will make sure every cabana has running water when you arrive. I hope we see you next time, it was a pleasure for all our team to organize your trip.! Best wishes.

    A paradise

We were in San Blas two months ago with panama san blas tous, it was amazing. The service was very good from the reservation to the support during the tour. The pick up was on time at 5:30 am as planed and the driver was very friendly. We were received on the island with a local breakfast not very well served but with a good taste of local traditions. (Don't forget you are in a isolated place) We recomand 100% this agency, everything was very well planned.

2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Panama City.

How much does 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water cost?

    +

Prices start at $399 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Panama City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Panama City is not rushed.

Is 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Panama City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Panama City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Panama City and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 Nights in San Blas Islands All Included - Cabanas Over the water start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Panama City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Panama City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Panama City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour to a waterfall and Embera village with lunch included, Ocean to Ocean Combo: Canal Boat Safari, Agua Clara & Gatun Locks, Half day of Panama city and canal tour: shared and private. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Panama City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Panama City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

Included: 3 Meals per day; Lunch; Dinner; Breakfast; and 2 Nights in Cabana Over the water. Not included: Drinks are not included 2-3USD each; Late check out, Panama City; and Entrance fees. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
