Sunset Sahara ATV
We loved our ATV experience in the sand dunes! The booking process and communication by the company was great. Our guide was kind and got great shots of us. Definitely recommend this experience!

Wonderful Overnight experience in the Sahara.
This was one of our favorite things we did in Morocco. The camel ride to the sunset was spectacular and the accommodations were 10/10. Very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend to my family and friends. Said was great and he also took us on a quad tour of the desert in the morning which was extra but so fun.

Wonderful trip to Merzouga
We had a truly amazing time! Quad bikes, camel ride, overnight stay at the desert, the food and transport - everything was organised perfectly. Highly recommended experience!

Experience was worth 3 stars out of 5
Unfortunately, I'd have to give this 1 start just so that the review gets more attention then the rest. Experience was worth 3 stars out of 5. I just felt like there wasn't enough food, information about the planning of the tour. You just get to the spot, hop on a camel then go all the way to camp. Next morning, I was expecting to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Instead we just get put on a camel again and walk all the way back from where we started with a 5 min stop to see the sun rise over the dunes. The sunrise was behind us all the camel ride and when I asked if we can stay a little longer for the sunrise or disembark from our camels to take some pictures, our guide just said no and continued walking towards the end of the camel ride. There was no sanboarding. The guide just showed us the sanboard and told us to go do it ourselves.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Merzouga.
How much does 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard cost?

How long does 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard take?
+

Is 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard worth it?
+

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 94 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Merzouga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-Hour Quad Desert Tour, Dunes Oasis, Nomads Family & Sandboard?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Merzouga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Merzouga and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Merzouga?
+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Merzouga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Merzouga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
