Tours to Petra and Wadi Rum

Mahmoud was our driver during our stay in Aqaba. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience during our tours. In addition, he provided us with a wealth of information about Petra and Wadi Rum, as well as Jordan in general. We highly recommend him and this transport company. We felt we were in great hands.

Response from the operator: Dear Piotrr53, Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that Mahmoud made your tours memorable and that you enjoyed learning about Petra, Wadi Rum, and Jordan. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you again.

Make sure you have the best driver!

With this review I want to focus on the exceptional service of Mahmood our driver to both Wadi Rum and the next day to Petra. Not only is he very knowledgable, but foremost a very nice guy and fun to be around with. He is absolutely reliable (and note: I am German...) But he is also very empathic. Meaning, he just knows what the guest needs. No music and time to nap in the back of the car. He knows without a word. Or a good conversation about the world in general or what is going in in Jordan. We could not have gotten a better guide for our travels during those two amazing days. Thank you Mahmood for all your support. All the best for you and your family!

Response from the operator: Dear Valued client, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear about your experience with Mahmood during your trips to Wadi Rum and Petra. We are so fortunate to have him as part of our team, and it’s clear that his dedication, knowledge, and personal touch truly made your travels special. Our drivers ability to anticipate the needs of our guests is a quality we deeply value, and we’re delighted that Mahmoud's attentiveness made such a positive impact on your journey. It’s wonderful to know that his expertise, along with his warm and thoughtful approach, helped make your time in Jordan so enjoyable. Your kind words mean the world to us, and we’ll be sure to pass them along to Mahmood. We hope to welcome you back for more memorable experiences in the future! Wishing you all the best and safe travels,

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.

How much does 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $420 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.

Is 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 days Adventure: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and Petra Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amman?

+

On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, Discover Trax Jo Playground and Traffic Park Fun, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amman?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amman?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
