Sapa by night train vip

The first guide in the rice fields explains almost nothing. The first transfer to the station went wrong because the driver didn't leave us in the right place... hotel legend frosty...

Response from the operator: Dear Ms Yves F, Warmest greetings from DragonflyCruise - a Brand of CharmingVietnamTravel.com. I very appreciate your positive feedback about the management of the response for the pick up but still feel very sad as we failed to provide you the five star I have immediately investigated in order to find out the best solutions in order to make sure it will not happen again. Rest assured, I will take your feedback seriously as a lesson on how to achieve the perfect service in terms of service and pick up quality. It's an adventure!

A great experience this excursion to Sapa. However, we still had some problems, including the fact that we had booked a private cabin on the train and did not have it for the outbound journey, so we did not sleep all night... For the return we had the desired cabin and we spent a better night. We therefore recommend taking a private cabin. The 5 star hotel in Sapa was perfect! We ate well and the room was very good. We also enjoyed the spa, which we strongly recommend, especially after a day of walking in the rice fields. Our private guide for both excursions was not very smiling but we still saw beautiful landscapes!

Response from the operator: Dear Mr/ Mrs Mélissa G, I very appreciate your positive feedback but still feel very sad as we failed to provide you the five star service. I have immediately investigated in order to find out the best solutions in order to make sure it will not happened again. Rest assured, I will take your feedback seriously as a lesson how to achieve the perfect service in terms of service. If you are traveling to our area again soon, we are looking forward to welcoming you soon again Warmest regards, Linda

Sa pa is overdeveloped

The indigenous tribal people are still there, but their occupations have shifted from farmers to tour-guides, sales people, and demonstrators of the old ways for tourists. Cat Cat village is a completely fabricated tourist experience, like a themed shopping mall that you must pay to enter. If you are looking for an authentic experience with the minority tribes of this region, you must reach out further. Sa pa itself is full of huge hotels with theme-park attractions like cable cars and funicular. There is massive, ongoing construction that makes the whole city a dust bowl of construction dust. Beware "Trekking" tours to Hmong and other villages, as they may be simply walking along roads through construction areas, to horrendous tourist traps.

Amazing Sapa

Sapa was by far our favourite place in Vietnam and the tour was well organised. From arriving (with our lost baggage) to finishing the tour we received great service and Michael was helpful throughout. We were especially pleased to have been given the opportunity to get on this tour despite it falling during the Tet Holiday which meant that Sapa was free from tourists allowing us to really enjoy the beauty of the place - thanks Charming Vietnam Travel for organising this for us on short notice! The sleeper train was an experience but the cabins were clean and as comfortable as a train can get - we would definitely do it again! The treks were wonderful and the local Hmong guides were some of the friendliest people we have ever met.Our guide Mai was also extremely helpful. The hotel was also very comfortable and the helpful. The only thing we could have been improved was the food at the hotel. However this did not take away from the sheer beauty of the place. We also liked that there was some downtime in the evening for us to do whatever we pleased, we went up Fansipan Mountain and were blown away by the views and beauty of it. Overall, we had a great time and would once again like to thank Charming Vietnam Travel for such a wonderful experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Najmin N, Charming Vietnam Travel would like to express our deepest appreciation to your compliment as well as making choice of our services. We would like to give thanks to your perfect rating, this means a lot to us. We always try to provide best services to our valued guests and this review is the result of our good services. As aims to make the best things for customers during the tour, we are very glad to see that you felt good with our services as transportation, food and especially our tour guide - Mrs Mai. I have passed your compliments to our guides and the others in our team, they are so happy to hear that. They all send their best regards to you. Next time if chance given, we do hope to serve you. If you have any requests for the next trip, we are looking forward to you. Sincerely, Min Tran Customer Care Team of Charming Vietnam Travel

2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi cost?

+

Prices start at $117 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 days 3 Nights Sapa Trekking Tour by Night Train from Hanoi start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
