2 day trip to Delphi
Poor communication from when I booked the trip until the end. Replies are non existent or delayed. I left an item on the bus which was found. I tried to arrange a pick it up and after it was confirmed they told me it would not be available until the following day. Unfortunately I have a flight early in the morning which I communicated. The amount of time given at the museum is not sufficient. We spent more time on the bus picking up local tours in Athens then we did at the site. The guide was informative but rushed. The ear phones did not work. The hotel, grounds, staff was amazing but the food was horrible. The pick up time from the hotel in Delphi back to Athens was supposed to be at 3 and no one arrived until 3:30 and no one communicated the delay. I recommend going to Delphi, it is magical but with another company.
Response from the operator: Dear Zsuzsana, I am the person who check in you on the bus and from the very first minute I informed you that on Day 1 you will visit the archaelogical site and Delphi museum then will have check in at hotel Amalia Delphi 4 stars and dinner is included in your prepaid ticket then on day 2 you will have breakfast at the hotel and free morning and then 15:00 you had to wait at the lobby for your return back to Athens. So all information given from hour side. Unfortunatelly your forgot a towel in a small yellow bag which delivered to you the next day as the bus that you forgot it was our of the city. Also we checked the devices and asked other clients and they told us that there was any problem. It is a pity to give us bad review because of the towel. Kind regards Hara Kritikidou

Great choice for Delphi!
We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day trip to Delphi! This gave us extra time to experience the area that the 1 day trip does not afford. The stops along the way are just photo ops and rests, but nice to see the areas as well. The hotel Amalia was fantastic: good food, nice rooms, lovely pool, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Our guide on the first day was excellent and she shared so much interesting information about the area and Greece in general. I am sorry I do not remember her name, but she deserves extra recognition! This tour is worth the cost in many ways, and I highly recommend it! Looking forward to another Viator tour in the future. Thank you!

A fantastic tour, highly recommend!
The tour was great. Easy pick up and drop off. Brilliant location. The driver was very kind and made sure we got our luggage and taken safely to the hotel. The tour guide was brilliant and made the tour come to life, he shared his knowledge of when he used to be an archaeologist and he has so much passion that he made everything feel special and magical. It was an immersive experience of learning new things and appreciating the landscape. The tour was also really well paced, and the overnight stay was at a very lovely hotel. This tour could not be more perfect, I highly recommend it!

Good but so much time in the bus
Very nice trip for me , but not too much time to visit place , and too much time in the bus , you need at least 7 or 8 hours per day in the bus in order to visit all the places .. Overall very good , the guide was very nice , not sure it was a 4 stars hotel but it was good .

Misleading Description
My husband & I booked this tour after considering many different options on how to visit Delphi. I had previously visited Delphi years ago but this was my husband’s first visit. Delphi is a major archaeological site and we felt a day trip would not provide adequate time to fully appreciate it. The Viator description of the tour is misleading, mainly because it leaves out details of the trip itinerary. The 2-day trip visitors are herded through the site & museum tour at the same frenetic pace as the day trippers and once you exit the site & museum with your group (as you must because the bus with your overnight luggage awaits to take you to your hotel) so the day trippers can eat a buffet lunch there (which is not included for the 2-day trip visitors) you cannot return to the site or museum without purchasing another ticket (at a cost of 12€ per ticket). The trip doesn’t depart from Athens until 8:45 am and the Viator description that the tour includes “exploring the mountain towns of Levadia and Arachova” are actually rest room breaks for 30 minutes at a truck stop outside Levadia and 15 minutes at Arachova. The tour doesn’t arrive to the site until noon at the height of the heat of the day and crowds. You only actually get about 2 hours total at the site & museum with the tour.
