Honest, professional and reliable
My name is Raphael and I’m from NYC I had an incredible experience with Jamal Theeb. He was professional, kind, pleasant, informative and most importantly honest! It was my first time in Jordan and I felt very safe with him. He’s a standup honest good guy!! Highly recommend. Also he speaks a perfect English and knows a lot about American culture. We had great conversations. He drove me to Petra from Amman. I also used him for airport transfer to my hotel. I plan on returning and will definitely use Jamal again. If I can rate him 6 stars I would. Thank you again Jamal for making my experience in Jordan a positive one.
Response from the operator: Dear Raphael, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear about your excellent experience with Jamal Theeb. Your kind words about his professionalism, honesty, communication, and knowledge mean a great deal to us. Ensuring our guests feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for—especially on their first visit to Jordan—is always our top priority. We are proud to have Jamal as part of our team, and your recommendation is the best recognition he could receive. We look forward to welcoming you back to Jordan soon and providing you with another exceptional experience. Warm regards, Retaj Tours & Transportation Team

Well-Worth It!
It was an excellent experience overall. Petra was as expected but awe-inspiring. The Wadi Rum portion was perfect. We had a wonderful guide who drove us through the desert and then superb accommodations at the Bedouin camp. Dinner was very good and the bubble tent was luxurious. Overall, would highly recommend this tour!

We’re delighted to know that your experience with us—from the inspiring visit to Petra, to exploring the desert in Wadi Rum and staying at the Bedouin camp—was so memorable. We’re especially pleased you enjoyed the guiding, the dinner, and the comfort of the bubble tent. Providing authentic, seamless, and enjoyable experiences is always our priority, and it’s so rewarding to hear we met your expectations. 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.
How much does 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea cost?
+
Prices start at $103 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.
Is 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day Tour: Petra, Wadi Rum, and 3Hour Stop at Aqaba or Dead Sea start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amman?
+
On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra, Amman Petra Full-Day Trip. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amman?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amman?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
