    Reliable and friendly

Our private driver Faisal was reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to answer any questions we had and was always on time. With this tour, we were able to enjoy the amazing sights of Jordan while the logistics were safely taken care of.

Response from the operator: LS391, thank you for recognizing Faisal’s work. Reliability, safe driving, and clear communication are exactly what we expect from our team. I’m especially glad he was on time and made the logistics feel easy while answering your questions along the way. I’ll make sure he sees your kind words. We’d be happy to drive you again whenever you return to Jordan. Suhail Ibrahim Founder & CEO

    See Jordan, private and safe!

We had an amazing experience with this tour. Our driver, Faisal, was a kind, nice and helpful driver to visit Jordan. Most of all he was a safe driver. We liked also the Wifi-on-board. We booked this private tour to have flexibility in our schedule and accommodation. When we needed any advice or help, Faisal, was there. You can use two days to see the highlights as distances and roads are in good condition. At Wadi Rum, you will need to be dropped off to switch to a 4WD, usually sent by the accomodation you booked.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review. You described exactly what we want private transportation in Jordan to feel like: safe, comfortable, flexible, and personal. I’m glad Faisal took good care of you, kept the schedule adaptable, and offered helpful local advice along the way. We were also happy to coordinate the timing while your accommodation handled the separate 4WD experience in Wadi Rum. I’ll be sure to pass your comments on to Faisal. Suhail Ibrahim Founder & CEO

    Magical 2 days

Ashram was super helpful and made the trip easy for us. He was always on time to pick us up and had water and quick wifi for us to you on the trip! He took care of arranging things for us like our guide at Petra, our pick ups at Wadi Rum (we had to have a jeep special for the dunes to access our tents), and our dead sea resort access. I'm so glad that we went early to Petra (we slept the whole way from Amman), as when we arrived there were few tourists and when we left, there were crowds coming in. We arrived and Ashram arranged our guide for us and was flexible about the time that we could spend there (we chose for the long tour of the entire site- 100 vs. 50 dinar). When we left, Ashram messaged our hotel site and arranged for someone to pick us up and took care of our paperwork at the Wadi Rum site. When we left the next day, Ashram arranged our visit at one of the dead sea resort of our choosing. We were so glad we chose this experience as we were able to do everything that we wanted to do without having to figure out the details. Petra was awe-inspiring and beautiful! The wadi rum was also beautiful and so worth going to. We had a camel ride at sunset (15pp) and a private stargazing experience with a fire and tea in the desert (35 total). It was cold at night but so worth it to have such beautiful views. The next day we went to the dead sea. It was closed because of the winds and rain that started shortly after we arrived so Ashram was flexible and willing to pick us up/get a refund. We chose to stay as the resort agreed to let us use the spa area. Tips to make the best of your trip: - have cash for the Petra guide (50-100 depending on the time you take) + 10pp if you want to climb to the higher part of the treasury + tips - have cash for Wadi Rum as many camps don't have credit card processing - have cash for the dead sea as you get a better deal than if you pay with card (35-45pp) - there are ATMs everywhere but they charge higher fees at the wadi rum/ no fees at the dead sea resort - have the Jordan pass (this also includes your visit to all sites) - Go early to Petra to avoid the pass - Take this trip!! Jordan is such an amazing place and entirely underrated!

Response from the operator: Kirsten, thank you for taking the time to describe your two days in such detail. I’m glad Ashram was punctual, kept you comfortable with water and Wi-Fi, and made the transportation between Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea run smoothly. The local guide, camp experience, and resort were separate services, but our team was pleased to help coordinate the timing and handoffs. Your practical note about carrying cash will also be useful to future travelers. Suhail Ibrahim Founder & CEO

    Ashram was very kind and...

Ashram was very kind and picked us right up for our hotel on time for our two day journey. It was a very long journey to Petra, and an early start. We were glad that we started out really early as we arrived in Petra before the larger groups of tourists. We slept most of the way. Ashram parked and came inside with us to arrange our guide for Petra and was flexible as we selected the longer tour. He also handed us over to our chosen Wadi Rum camp and arrived back to pick us up perfect on time. He took care of the details with Wadi Rum officials and with our camp. When we left, he also made arrangements based on our selection of dead sea resort. We were also back at our Amman hotel in the early evening! Top tip- nearly everything seems to be paid for in cash- our wadi rum tent and activities, dead sea resort entry, petra guide (50 for half, 100 for full tour). There are ATMs nearly everywhere but they charge 5 per transaction (higher charge at Wadi Rum and no charge at dead sea resort mall). Second Tip- you will be asked which resort you want to go to in the dead sea, which is great if you have a preference or you can say 4 or 5 star and Ashram can help you pick. There are lots of review sites online which have details about each.

Response from the operator: Kirsten, I appreciate your detailed feedback. Starting early for Petra was a smart choice, and I’m glad Ashram arrived on time and helped the day move smoothly from your hotel pickup through Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Our service is private transportation, while the Petra guide, camp activities, and resort are separate, but we’re always happy to help make the connections clear and stress-free. Thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your Jordan trip. Suhail Ibrahim Founder & CEO

    Excellent driver

Our driver Faisal was very professional and spoke very good English. He took us to Petra, Wadi Rum desert and the Dead Sea and was always willing to stop if we needed. Even though he was not technically a guide he was very good at explaining the different sites. He also kept a very clean car. I was with my 2 preteens and he was very patient. My kid even left his charger in the previous hotel and he was very helpful getting it back for us. Thank you Faisal for a great time.

Response from the operator: Angela, thank you for such a generous and balanced review. You described Faisal’s role perfectly: a professional private driver rather than a licensed tour guide. I’m glad his English, patience, and safe driving made the Petra, Wadi Rum, and Dead Sea route comfortable for your family. Going back to recover your child’s charger reflects the level of care we expect from our team. I’ll be sure Faisal sees your comments. Suhail Ibrahim Founder & CEO

2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amman.

How much does 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport cost?

    +

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amman is not rushed.

Is 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amman and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2-Day Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Private Transport start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amman?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Amman: Petra and Wadi rum Private/Group Full day Tour, From Amman :Private or Group Full day tour to Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea 4 Days 3 nights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amman?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amman?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
