Excellent Outlander Experience And More!

You will hit many Outlander filming locations on this tour as well as learning a lot of Scottish History and Culture. Ample time is given at each stop for exploring, taking pictures, grabbing a bite to eat and a bathroom break. The towns you go to are all lovely as well as the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking highlands throughout the tour. Our Tour Guide, Kenny Kirk, was very friendly and informative throughout - he ensured that each of us enjoyed the experience. I, particularly, enjoyed his music playlists - it helped enhance my tour experience (as well as the Irn Bru)!

Response from the operator: Hi Sandra, We are really happy to hear that you had great fun learning about Scottish history and culture! Glad to hear that your guide Kenny made your trip even more enjoyable through his music and stories! We hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards Teddy Highland Experience

Exceptional 2 day tour into the Highlands

Fantastic 2 day tour, our guide Kenny was exceptional, very knowledgeable about both Scottish History and Outlander. We were able to see additional places of interest and Kenny also pointed out other significant Scottish landmarks etc along the way. The B&B accommodation was spot on, breakfast was delicious and the owner John very accommodating. I highly recommend this tour, if you are fortunate enough to get Kenny then expect great chat, loads of laughs and some very special music along the way.

Response from the operator: Hi there Kate, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, it is great to hear that you enjoyed your 2 day Outlander tour to the beautiful Highlands! We will be sure to pass along your compliments to Kenny, as we know how hard our guides work and the level of care they have for creating great experiences for our guests. Kind regards, Holly Highland Experience

An Unforgettable Scottish Highlands Experience with Kenny!

We had an absolutely fantastic two days exploring the Scottish Highlands with our tour guide, Kenny. He was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely humorous, and made the entire experience so enjoyable from start to finish. Kenny’s local insight into Scottish culture, music and history really brought the Highlands to life. His stories and knowledge gave us a much deeper appreciation for the places we visited, while his great sense of humour kept us laughing throughout the day. He was friendly, engaging and clearly passionate about sharing Scotland with visitors. It felt like we weren’t just being shown the sights — we were getting a real taste of Scotland from someone who knows and loves the area. Kenny was an absolute highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough! If you’re looking for a Highlands tour filled with history, culture, beautiful scenery and plenty of laughs, ask for Kenny — you won’t be disappointed!

Response from the operator: Hi there Stephanie, Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review! We will be sure to let Kenny know that you really enjoyed his storytelling and insights. We are very proud of the passion our guides demonstrate when showing people around Scotland, and their expertease in sharing their knowledge while showing you some of the best sights to see. Thank you for choosing the Highland Experience! Holly Highland Experience

2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Edinburgh.

How much does 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh cost?

+

Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Edinburgh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Edinburgh is not rushed.

Is 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 67 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Edinburgh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh?

+

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Edinburgh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Edinburgh and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2-Day Outlander Experience Small Group Tour from Edinburgh start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Edinburgh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Edinburgh?

+

On Outty we rank every Edinburgh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Edinburgh: Loch Ness, Glencoe and The Highlands, Edinburgh: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe & Fort William, Edinburgh Ghost Tour: Mysteries, Legends and Murders. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Edinburgh?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Edinburgh?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
