Great value and experience
We did this tour as a family of 4 with one teenager and one 10 year old. It was fantastic value for the price of the tour. It included 2 meals, 1 hotel night stay, and all entrance tickets. The places we visited were spectacular and beyond expectations. The tour guides were helpful and very communicative. There is js definitely a lot of driving, so be prepared for that. I'd highly this tour!
Response from the operator: Dear Sherri, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review of our 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour. We are delighted to hear that you and your family found the tour to be both excellent value and a memorable experience. The combination of guided visits, hotel accommodation, two meals and entrance tickets is designed to offer travelers a complete and well-organized journey through two of mainland Greece’s most remarkable destinations. It is especially rewarding to know that Delphi and Meteora exceeded your expectations and that the professionalism, helpfulness and communication of our guides contributed positively to your experience. We also truly appreciate your honest reference to the driving time. This is an important part of the itinerary, as the tour covers a considerable distance in order to include both Delphi and Meteora within two days, and your comment will help future travelers arrive well prepared. It was a pleasure welcoming you and your family, and we hope to have the opportunity to assist you again on another journey through Greece. Kind regards, Stamatis Filippis (Manager/Owner)

Overall our tour was...
Overall our tour was topnotch. For the Delphi leg, Cristina provided good commentaries and historical background about the temple. While for the Meteora segment, Dora also gave informative narratives on the history, life and culture about the monasteries' nuns.

The communication from...
The communication from the operators was excellent, the bus driver and tour guide were also wonderful and knowledgeable and very patient. The three star hotel option would probably be a two star in any other place in Europe. Paper thin walls, the coffee at breakfast was awful, and we had school groups in the same hotel who were making noise all night and knocking on doors of other visitors to cause trouble. I'm guessing the school groups stayed there because it was the cheapest option. The staff at the hotel were amazing and it was clean, but we expected much better facilities given how much the cost and reputation of the tour operator.
Response from the operator: Dear Mr. Phill_C, Thank you for taking the time to post a review for the «2-Day Delphi Meteora Tour From Athens», since this is the only way to improve our services and understand any possible issues. We are really delighted because we understand that you are totally satisfied from the core parts of the tour, such as : the communication and organization from the tour operator, the bus driver and tour guide (wonderful, knowledgeable and very patient) and the staff of the hotel and its cleanliness. The places that we visit and the relative attractions such Delphi and Meteora, are worldwide prestigious monuments which bare great historical heritage. Its importance is even tot in schools all around the world in order to «see» the books in real life. As result of this many school groups visiting the area and sometimes its inevitable to not meet such groups, since occasionaly happens to have a lot of them at the same time in the area. We hope to welcome you back soon on another tour to explore more of Greece’s wonders! Stamatis Filippis (Owner/Manager)

Good Sites to visit
The visits to Adelphi and Meteora were definitely worth it but the travel time to and from was a bit much. More time spent on the bus than visiting the sites. The guide was great. Hotel accommodations and meals were very good
Response from the operator: Dear Joseph, Thank you for taking the time to post a review for the «2-Day Delphi Meteora Tour From Athens», since this is the only way to improve our services and understand any possible issues. We are really glad that you enjoyed the tour and you had such a beautiful time and confirm the beauty and importance of these two unique places so that we can continue to include them in our programs. Also we are glad to hear positive feedback about our guide and the part of the travel organization such as hotel accommodations and meals. Unfortunately, bus lines are the only consistent means of transportation to see and experience as many points of interest and attractions as possible, especially in such a limited time period of 2 days. We understand that sometimes this might be tiring. We hope to welcome you back soon on another tour to explore more of Greece’s wonders! Stamatis Filippis (Owner/Manager)

2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day Delphi & Meteora Tour from Athens with Hotel & Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
