We had a great day with Tommy in Hiroshima. We were able to see a lot of the city and the island with very clear guidance and direction. The museum is interesting and also emotionally moving. An engaging and thorough tour of Hiroshima
Naomiさん is an excellent guide, who answered every one of my questions with an enthusiasm that made me want to learn more. Moreover, her connection with the locale made for a more personal experience at an okonomiyaki restaurant, one I will not soon forget!

I hope you had a wonderful day in Hiroshima, and we are wishing your trip is going to be safe and amazing! Thank you so much, Arigatou!

Ok but not great
I have done several Viator tours but I felt this did not meet their standards. Did not go to any additional places like they said. We only went to the Dome, Museum and Island, no special places. I think it was expensive because you did have to pay for transportation. (bus, train, ferry)
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our Hiroshima and Miyajima tour and for sharing your thoughts. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide not only visits to Hiroshima’s most important sites, such as the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Museum, and Miyajima Island, but also deeper historical context, local insights, and stories that many visitors would not discover on their own. However, we understand that you were hoping for additional physical locations beyond the main attractions, and we appreciate this feedback. Regarding transportation costs, our tour uses public transportation to provide an authentic local experience, and transportation fees are listed separately from the tour price. We understand, however, that this may have impacted your perception of the overall value. Feedback such as yours helps us better communicate what guests can expect before booking, and we will continue working to improve both our tour descriptions and guest experience. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you enjoyable travels ahead.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hiroshima.
How much does 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car) cost?

How long does 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car) take?
+

Is 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 91 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hiroshima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car) suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book 1DAY Hiroshima Miyajima & Bomb Dome Private Tour (No Private Car)?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hiroshima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hiroshima and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hiroshima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hiroshima?
+
On Outty we rank every Hiroshima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Peaceful Hiroshima & Miyajima UNESCO 1 Day Bus Tour, Hiroshima Peace (Heiwa) Walking Tour at World Heritage Sites, Hiroshima and Miyajima Day Trip with Itsukushima Shrine & Ferry. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hiroshima?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hiroshima?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
